Little harder to adjust up and down because of the pressure of the cylinder, but, so far so good. Much cheaper than buying a new chair and took all but 10 minutes to install with a couple clothes and a small hammer to nudge the old one out of the chair seat. Ill update if it goes out within a year.

Easy to install. Does the job. Will see how long it lasts. Helped save me a few $$ for sure on an existing office chair that needed a new cylinder but the rest of the frame was fine.

Used on a LaZboy office chair. Of course it is somewhat of a pain to get the old cylinder and sleeve out of the chair, but once you do replacing it is a breeze. This cylinder is holding up well so far (only installed for a few days now), and I like that this one sits a little higher than the one I took out. Well worth the investment to refresh your old office chair. I would note that this item does not come with any kind of instructions, but a quick visit and search on YouTube gives all the instruction you need to replace an office chair gas cylinder. Update 04/19/2021: Cylinder started to fail and had to replace, it started sinking again just like the the one I took out. It did last over a year however so for the price and it lasting that long I would still give it 4 stars. Went with the same product for replacement just the 'newer version'. Hoping to get another year out of this one as well.

Worked PERFECTLY. Be sure to measure your original ones to make sure any new one you buy matches. That being said, this was perfect, and I don't have to buy a new chair right after Christmas! TYVM!

Saved me $100's. Our office chair kept sinking this guy solved the problem for a fraction of the cost of a new chair. Fit was perfect and easy to install. Removal of the old one was a different story and took some time but that has nothing to do with this part.

I work from home 40 hours a week and love to game on downtime. I am 6'4, 280lbs so it has been difficult finding a chair that is comfortable, let alone can hold me up for extended periods of time. After purchasing a pretty penny on the chair, the default lift failed me fairly quick. This product purchased almost a year and a half ago has held up with ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS.. Even at max height, having little to no give (Even plopping into the chair or when both of my children are sitting on my lap.) Very stable and definetly build to last, this very firm gas lift is NECESSARY for anybody looking for something to hold you up when you sitting down! 10 out of 10, 100% will buy again when purchasing a new chair.

Seems like a universal fitment. Worked perfectly for me. Measure your old gas cylinder and ensure its the same height. I removed the black case because my chair had a different design however the silver part was standard size and fits well. There's small parts inside the black cylinder so be careful not to loose anything

Fits well, make sure to measure the travel of old one as majority on here were actually shorter. Need hammer/mallet and a pipe wrench to remove old one. Simply mallet hit bottom to loosen from cylinder and years of sitting in chair, top chamber pipe wrench needed to spin about to loosen from chair. Then simply remove the new cap on the new cylinder and place in the feet and then top chair and sit on chair and move up and down a few times and then it’s like new
