Purchased two of these for a canoeing trip in the Boundary Waters. Cheaply made, but worked fine for the trip.

This is junk. 2" broke off while putting line on my reel within 10 minutes of delivery.

Very interesting rod. It about 6 ft 6 inches in length. The rod is very fast through the first 3 sections and then the tip is ultra light. I would be describe it as a jigging rod for walleyes when using lighter jigs. I'm honestly not sure what I will use it for because the tip is so light. It's decent rod at this price point, especially if you need something to keep in a vehicle or to travel with. It comes with a junky fabric case that won't protect it. I may grab a hard fly rod tube case and keep it my vehicle for those random fishing opportunities. Brakes down into about 18 inch sections.

This Eurasian Sports fishing pole comes in four pieces stored in a rather cheep storage bag that has a separate slot for each piece. Once assembled the pole reaches a length of a little under eight feet, and because of the carbon fiber it is very light yet feels strong. The last piece, however, is very thin so one could assume that it may break during a battle with a large fish so the integrity of this part of the pole needs to be tested. The one advantage to having such a thin tip is that one can readily recognize when a fish first starts biting. The overall quality of this rod first becomes apparent during the assembly of the pieces, because they lock into place very well under rather tight tolerances. The line guides are very smooth and most likely will be gentle with the fishing line, especially braided line. I am very much looking forward to installing my new spinning reel on this baby, and will then be going after those large bass this Spring. UPDATE 7-27-25: I took this pole with me on a camping trip recently. It was in a protective case placed inside my roof top carrier, When I went to retrieve it and some of my camp stuff rested on the pole the very thin top of the rod as shone in the photo just broke so easily. My suspicions about this part of the pole being way too thin turned out to be correct. I would strongly recommend that everyone avoid this product. It was obviously manufactured using substandard materials.
