These are a prefect storage container and so versatile! You can use them to store any food item without staining or keeping any odor. You can use them for proofing bread or marinating meat. I just love them and have different sizes.

I bought these to help improve my sourdough proofing times. WHAT A DIFFERENCE they made for me! You can mix in these, but it is kind of tight if making more than 1 loaf in my opinion - but still an option. There was no smell or residue of any kind and easily washed and dried well. the material is of course plastic but very sturdy and not at all flimsy. I made a single loaf of sourdough in one of them and just used the measurement lines on the sides to keep track. They are not completely clear but see through enough to keep an eye on the progress. These would also be great for liquids because of the tight fit of the lid\ and would probably travel well if needed. So, all in all, I would most definitely recommend these for sourdough bakers and various types of food prep and storage.

I originally bought the Cambro 4-quart containers for proofing dough, and they’ve been perfect for that. The plastic is thick and sturdy, and the lids go on and come off easily without feeling cheap. They’re really well-made. I’ve also found they’re great for leftovers or bringing food to potlucks—things like macaroni or potato salad fit perfectly. Just a solid, dependable set of containers that have come in handy for a lot more than I expected.

These are good size. I use them for big batches of sourdough starter. The measurements on the side are especially helpful. They’re plastic so they’re not microwave safe, but that’s fine by me. Good seal. Very useful.

These are great! Having working in the food industry for way too long I can assure you there is no comparison between commercial food storage containers and those designed for home use. These containers are designed to be efficient and last under far more hostile environment meaning they will last nearly forever in your home. Stackable, stain resistant, easy to clean, virtually leak-proof. Buy quality and save in the long run!

I have a selection of these to store different baking flours. They are sturdy, the lids fit just fine. And they can be stacked 2 high if needed.

These work very well for proofing sourdough, and the measurements make it easy to judge how much the dough has risen during the bulk ferment. Lids close nice and tight, and the thickness seems more than enough. Overall, well made.

Bought this to help monitor the rise of my sourdough and for that it has been a game changer. (Pro tip: VERY lightly oil the container to help with easy release of the dough.) I use the second one to store my bread flour. The lid for food storage is not great. It's a little fiddly and hard to get seated securely. It's a small gripe, though. Still definitely worth purchasing.
