This attractive outdoor thermometer is well made to stand up to all the crazy weather we seem to be getting. The holder is made to stand firmly in the ground while supporting the large, easy to clean, acrylic measuring tube. No wobbles at all! Reading the collected amount of rain is not quite as easy as depicted. That wide blue line shown behind the numbers in the listing is actually part of the stand not the tube. One needs to rotate the tube to line the numbers up with the background stripe. The numbers on the rain gauge are fairly easy to identify from a few yards away with or without the highlighting stripe. Sadly, it has had minimal precipitation to measure this summer as we’ve had no rain in MO for nearly 8 weeks! Hopefully I can add an edit for accuracy sometime soon.

Easy to set up. I would have preferred a taller post to make gage higher but seems to work ok. Easy to read also.

Extra large container is easy to read. Metal stand is thin, but seems sturdy. It is slim and sleek and looks nice in the flowerbed. Description was spot on and delivery was quick.

It was smaller than I expected. Looks to be a good product but I have not had any success in getting an any in the tube . I’ve clear out an area around it. And yes there have been several down pours lately. So I don’t know what to say. It’s steady and well made. I may have to move to other places to get what I want.

I really like everything on the weather gauge except the direction for setting everything are very difficult to follow. I end up having to go to Rufus to do resets and other settings and still have a problem understanding which buttons to use. It is very frustrating. Right now we have an alarm that goes off and I can’t figure out which buttons to use to get it to stay off!

Seems much more accurate than my previous rain gauge with a thick rim! This one's rim is tapered so that the rain that hits the rim does not fall into the measuring device, but is sent to the ground. I read both of my rain gauges after a good rain, and this one measured 2 inches, vs the old one measured 3 inches. That is a big difference in accuracy! I also appreciate the .10 increments.

This guage sits purdy in my front flower bed… come in with all the pieces .. large number display .. easy to read from 20 ft away unless you need glasses.

I like the product very much, unfortunately, since I made the purchased, we have only received only minute/traces of rain.
