Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Signature Sauteuse Oven, 3.5 qt, Caribbean

I have a few pieces in this color and absolutely love it. I have the 12 inch skillet which after several uses and seasonings in the oven, it definitely has some discoloration on the outside, but I just think it's well-loved. I bought this initially to bake sourdough bread, but decided against it as I have another larger Le Crueset and some in my sourdough baking group have said that you could ruin the enamel. So I pivoted and use this when I'm making smaller dishes and don't want to haul out my larger Le Crueset. I love how easy it is to clean if there are stains (baking soda paste).

This strong Sauteuse Oven gets the job done. The color really pops and is so beautiful to look at. Everything cooks well and quick in it as it holds the heat. It is a bit on the heavy size when compared to its size. It is not the biggest pot by any means, but handles all the food I have put in it over the years. It is also very clean, still - no stains, nothing stock on it because it is very easy to clean. This pot will last me a decade or more and I hope to buy more in its line because of how well it has done in my home.

The sauteuse itself is great; the packing was not. To pay full price for an item, you're expecting the box not to be damaged as well as the booklet not to be ruffled, marked, or water-damaged. The pot still had its stickers and did not appear to have been used. Be wary of getting this as a gift for someone. The manual should be inside of the pot and there should be 2-4 plastic prints to hold the lid separate from bottom. A tag with the color printed should be addicted to the bottom and the company sticker stuck to the outer border. I would have given 5 stars as the product is still great but seeing as this came from the Lee Creuset store, there's no reason for the mediocrity at full price. Love the pêche. Very spring-summer fresh. The size of the sauteuse is perfect for small to medium one-pot meals. I also got the 2.5 qt french oven because I wasn't sure which size would've suited me best. I'll get a lot more use out of the sauteuse as everyday cookware but the 2.5 qt is a welcome addition. For reference, the 3.5 qt is about the size of a (shallow) large mixing bowl and the 2.5 qt is about the size of a (shallow) medium mixing bowl / width of a dinner plate. These enameled cast iron pieces are stovetop and dishwasher safe. The knobs are NOT dishwasher safe. I do recommend these if you're looking for quality with a lifetime guarantee.

I was reluctant to buy this on Amazon, but I could not find this sauteuse in Caribbean on any other websites, so I was happy to find it here. This my 3rd Le Creuset in my collection, and I am so satisfied with it. I feel this one is a good in between to have, between my 5.5 quart dutch oven and 2.25 quart braiser.
