Bulk Micellar Casein Protein Powder, Protein Shake, Unflavoured, 2.5 kg, Packaging May Vary

Ok there’s a lot of powders to choose from and I’ve tried a lot of them, expensive ones, cheap ones and so on.Well this powder is very fine and mixes instantly in my protein promaxx mixer bottle. It is easy to stomach, i really mean that, it really is nice to drink and I enjoy taking it. I always buy strawberry flavour and the flavour is very nice if you mix it correctly with the right amount of water.I am using this protein every day after training, before bed every day along with a bulk powders whey protein pure isolate 90 twice a day and a regular strength training program and a high density nutritional meal plan and I am obtaining actual visible gains. I am also lifting stronger as well.So with a good program and consistent use of this product I am seeing actual gains and enjoy drinking it and other bulk powders products.The price is ver6 reasonable and they often have offers on too. Highly recommended!

This is a review for 2.5 kilo bag in strawberry flavour. The purchase price I paid was £22.94 when you consider currently a 1 kilo bag in other flavours costs a shade over £22 you can see that it's excellent value for money. For some reason strawberry always seems to be the poorer cousin to chocolate vanilla etc probably why this is the price it is.The product itself has a mild strawberry flavour which is not overly strong and does not linger in the mouth but when first mixing it has a chalky texture I have found it best if you mix your drink and then leave it a while then giving it a final shake it is a lot smoother drink without the chalky texture.The powder itself is very fine unlike a normal whey protein powder so I recommend mixing on a surface that is easily wiped down , as of yet I have not managed to get some dust residue either on the surface or on my hands.The recommended dosage is three times a day so what I do is use old Cola bottles and mix three drinks up stored in the fridge to simply get out and use as needed.I personally have seen muscle gains using this powder but as with all things it's a personal preference what works for some does not work for this at this price you cannot go wrong

Mixes easily in a lidded shaker or blender, tastes ok and doesn't leave a nasty aftertaste like some protein powders. The bag however is MASSIVE and is quite hard to use, the powder is VERY light and dusty and scooping powder into your shaker is bound to leave a dusty mess.Also, the resultant shake is quite thin and not really very shake like. You almost get a chocolate milk instead! Still, the drink is quite satisfying and the price good too. I couldn't say if it contributes towards my gym sessions, but I'm sure that you could use it as a handy extra meal replacement if you're bulking up, but struggling to eat all the extra food.

I ordered the chocolate shake and have been taking a serving as my pre-bed protein. The taste isn't amazing but it is alright for only being 103kcal a serving. The texture is good, mixes easily without lumps and makes a nice 'shake' texture.

Another reviewer commented that this product made everything taste bland. I've no idea how it happens but it really does. The flavourful smoothies and breakfast combos that I was used to with my whey protein have suddenly become bland mush with this. I wanted the benefits of casein, but won't be getting them if I'm not using the product! So am going back to whey. It does blend well and is filling so to that extent it's good.

I take this an hour or two before bed. Mix if with some decaf coffee granules and some Stevia and it's a nice milky drink...Casein is great as it is slow release protein, so keeps the amino acids flowing through the body for 8 or more hours...

Would not recommend, stomach problems probably from cheap ingredients. Very badly packaged, it looks like someone just slammed the contents in and heat sealed it or something. You will be unable to close the seal if your one is as bad as my one because it's all blocked up with powder from bad packaging. The taste isn't bad, it's not great though and feels very watery no matter the consistency. That same day or maybe the next, I am not sure, I couldn't wait and had to get something sooner so I went to a local store and got Instant Mass Heavyweight by Reflex Nutrition 2kg chocolate which didn't seem too bad and the flavour is a bit better than that of this bulk powder. On my next return I'd be looking for something more quality which will probably also require a higher budget.
