Didn’t really notice a difference.

The blackcurrant with other herbs mixture oil comes securely packed in plastic sealled sachet. The bottle itself is dark blue, made of plastic and it has flip lid opening. The oil smells very nice, and it looks greasy but once rubbed in skin, it leaves skin greasy a bit (depending how much of oil you applied) but that's the protection which stays for some time, until washing the skin. This oil needs to be replied daily to see any effects on skin conditions. For me, it just made my hands smooth and soft but with another hand wash, it all gone and I had to apply the oil again, which can be a bit time consuming and force you to remember about it. But something for something...if you want help your skin, then give it more attention.. I'm glad that this product is cruelty free, paraben free and 100% natural. I don't feel guilty using it. After few applications there is no skin redness or itchiness caused by this oil. What's more, my skin is much better now than before using this oil. Its smooth elastic, not dry, it's hydrated, looking younger. I can't praise this oil enough. I try to use it mostly when I don't need to do anything requiring often hand wash. I apply the oil mostly before bed time or when write product reviews :) This oil is made of blackcurrant seed oil, evening primrose, jojoba olive, avocado oils infused from vitamin E, lavender and patchouli so all the best things we can ask form. This product has best before date which is 01.05.2026 so use it now and don't stock up too much only as much you need. I'm really pleased to have it. Highly recommended.

This is not pure blackcurrent seed oil. Actual ingredients contain many other included with them. very misleading

Packaged in a cobalt blue plastic bottle and sealed in a foil bag, the oil has a light, pleasing warm woody-earthy scent, with notes of lavender and patchouli. The texture of this oil blend is rich and somewhat thick, with a medium viscosity. It spreads easily on the skin without feeling overly heavy, though it does leave a slight greasy feeling initially. However, it absorbs into the skin over time. Once absorbed, it deeply hydrates and nourishes the skin, visibly reducing dryness and flakiness on rough patches. However, it does leave a slight residue, especially if applied in large amounts, which can feel a bit greasy. To mitigate this, I either use a smaller amount or apply it as a night treatment, particularly on my feet where I have dry, flaky patches. I find that wearing bed socks helps to protect bedding from this oil residue. With regular use, I hope to see a reduction in the size of these patches over time. I have used a couple of products from this brand before, and they have both delivered on their promised results. So, I am optimistic about the potential of this one.

I love the smell of this, it reminds me of patchouli which in turn reminds me of a hippy shop I used to go in years ago. It's a very oily oil which makes it easy to use but does leave the skin a bit too greasy for my liking. I have a very bad patch of eczema on by leg which I treat with a well know moisturiser which does the job very well. Unfortunately this ointment proved to be no defense and after a couple of days my leg was quite red and itchy which is what happens when I forget to use my regular cream. Eveyrone is different, it may well work for other people with different conditions, but it didn't work for me and I also think it is really quite expensive for such a small bottle.

With a long expiry date, this 100ml plastic bottle of Blackcurrant Seed Oil is hand blended in Essex and arrives sealed in a no-leak pouch. I've tried the Thyme Oil also from Sera Organics. I have no doubts as to the quality of this product and for me, with eczema behind one ear and inside both ears, it does have a mildly soothing effect but so far hasn't calmed down the maddening itching much. It is hydrating and nourishing so maybe time will tell but the price point gave me high hopes that weren't entirely realised. That said, it is early days and I'm prepared to persevere. I like the natural elements of this product and I'm certainly not writing it off. As I say, time will tell and I appreciate the opportunity to try a product that just may have benefits used regularly. Could be worth sampling. This may work better for some conditions than for others and, used long term, may yet work for me.

This multi-herb oil works wonders on my skin. Just 2-3 drops rubbed well in hands helped better than expensive moisturizer. My skin from dry and cracking, turned to smooth and hydrated skin. I couldn't believe it. This oil didn't case any itching or discomfort. It's like I applied hand cream. It leaves some greasy residue but at least I know that it's still there on my hands and it protects and hydrates my skin while doing my chores. I applied it 3 times a day and I really see huge improvement since. The oil has a very pleasant scent, which I can smell when bringing my hand close to my nose so if you don't like the scent from close sniff, then you wouldn't notice it too much. I'm not surprised why it costs £23. It's so good and healed my skin better than many other products I've tried. Highly recommended.

I've been applying this to my lips and beard nightly and I've noticed a much better texture to both. My lips feel smoother, with less cracking and they look much more hydrated. My beard is more manageable and also softer to touch, before it was scraggly and hard to manage, but this blackcurrant oil does a good job of conditioning it overnight. The oil washes off easily with mild soap, and it doesn't leave any odours or colour. although it is blackcurrant, the oil is relatively clear and doesn't stain. The quality of the oil is good, it seems refined and has a consistent viscosity.
