Blew out my AC fuse !!!
I bought this to bring the cool air from ac to the back seat for my grandsons - summer is very hot wheee I live . One day my ac just stopped working no power - took it to the mechanic and he can’t figure out why it kept blowing the fuse. They disconnected the alarm the dealership installed when a car is brand new and it worked , labor cost $200. Went home and it was working well , next day we hit 107 degrees and I tried to air out the back before picking up my grandson from school and then AC didn’t work , no power whatsoever . I finally pulled off the fan and had my son in law out in a new fuse - called the mechanic and I told Him what happened - he said that fan compressor is pulling in too much power causing the ac fuse to short - don’t use it anymore. Sure enough - I went straight to UPS and returned the item. My AC is working fine now. But I’m $200 out of pocket due to this fan!
