IBC tote have two different thread types on the container itself. One is course like these, and some have a finer thread pattern.This fitting made it possible to put a spigot on my tote, which I can hook to a food grade RV hose to dispense. Worked perfectly for my application.

It works well for my needs...the totes come with 2 different threads course an fine.. course thread are used for food grade.

This adapter says it's for a garden hose, but it has pipe threads, not garden hose threads. Your hose will probably thread onto it, but eventually the threads will be destroyed on the adapter, the hose, or both.

Using this on a tote to water our small garden.

Great for using a rainwater tote for garden

It's ok it fits it works but the sealing material sucks I would glue this on or something to prevent leakage
