HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This pool is GREAT! It is easy to assemble, quick to install and a great size for the family to enjoy! The materials are sturdy and high quality! I don’t have any complaints. The filter and pump are good quality. I think this is the best pool you can get for the money! I recommend anyone looking for an above ground pool to get an Intex.

Quality pool
Great pool at a great price. Intex makes a quality product. This is my second intex pool. The first one I had for 10 years and it still worked but was looking old.

Seriously the best investment I've ever put in my backyard
Update 05/27/2022: This pool has now been in operation for a couple seasons, and it's still doing GREAT. I had to replace the plates in the chlorinator, and refill the sand in the filter once, and that's it for the heavy maintenance. The water is still crystal clear, the FAFCO heating pad is still kickin, and my kids are still loving the pool. Still absolutely no regrets with this purchase. I was leary at first. Above ground pools are something the Uncle Eddie has in Xmas vacation, that you could imagine him jumping off his RV into. But I live in the South West, where the sun doesn't care if your pool is below above or levitating - the heat spares no one. Instead of investing $80k or more in a fancy pants pool, I spent a fraction of that on a 24' diameter Intex pool and it has been the best money I've spent that I can remember. Super easy to setup - I did it with one person. I already had a flat large area to place it, so all the real hard work was done. Filled it up (took about $350 in water), and then realized that it was going to need two more things to be perfect. I picked up a Chlorinator - also made by Intex - so I wouldn't have to deal with chemicals. I mixed in the salt as directed, and it's been producing chlorine ever since (one and a half seasons later). You can't tell there's salt in the water, and you can't tell there's chlorine either - but my test kits always put it in the proper range (2-3ppm). The second item was a heating mat. I setup the pool at the end of the season, so the sun was already losing some of it's potency here. But at the start of this season, I REALLY noticed it. I have the 4' x 20' heating mat you can get here on Amazon, and it works great. Since the sun started cooking the southwest, my pool has been a steady 80-85 degrees all day long. Maintenance is extremely low. I added a skimmer (the one where you have to actually cut the liner to put in - a littte nerve wracking BUT VERY worth it!!!) and it keeps the surface spotless. I've gone through a couple of pool vacuums (stay away from the Intex one!) and I've settled on a rechargeable one that you just drop in the pool. It takes care of all the big and medium debris that lands at the bottom, but the fine debris has been more of a challenge. A brush with a suction port that ties into my skimmer has solved that problem - I put the pump into bypass and just let it go into the planter. Really the only thing that takes a bit of attention is maintaining the pH level. I find I'm constantly adding the pH lowering chemicals to keep it around 7.6 - 7.8. Not difficult, I just need to not forget to do it. Overall, I probably spent about 3k on everything (pool, pump, chlorinator, heating pad, light, vacuum - x2, did I mention not to get the Intext one? - skimmer, misc hoses and stuff)... and it's been worth every cent. My kids and I absolutely love it, and it's made living in a hot climate so much more tolerable.

Good Pool but had a couple issues! But would recommend this pool still.
This is a good pool for the money. Even with small leak. Don't be dissuaded because of the small leak. Just be ready and check as filling for signs of leakage. Overall was is great. Pros: Easy Set up, size, delivery, good pump and filter. Cons: Had a small leak on seam, trying to contact manufacturer or getting support is difficult, no suction side vacuum port, last top rail is a pain, didn't know I needed filter sand until afterwards. Setup: make sure you level the area good. I spent hours leveling because of size and was still off about 2" on one side. I left it because it wasn't bulging. Make sure to have two bags of pool sand filter ready prior to setup or go get while pool is filling. Make sure you start top rail at on point and work around in circular direction clockwise/ counterclockwise do not attach legs until top is complete . Last rail is a pain in the butt even while following the recommendation in directions. Just be patient. I caught the drip leak (video) early while filling and fortunately it was were I could get to it and put pvc glue on seam that sealed the leak. Returning item liked this would be a nightmare after hours of assembly just to disassemble. I would think a credit should be given for leak and couldn't get hold of anyone. Just a return but couldn't get support. Returning was out of the question. Maintenance: I have a pool cleaning service and had all chemicals on hand to treat pool. This made bringing pool chemistry easy for me. I would recommend keeping calcium between 160 to 200. Because you don't want vinyl to harden too much. I have well water low calcium. Mine is at 180. I have a high iron content in my well water. The pump and sand filter did great filtering it and I had to backwash a couple times. However, I don't like that it doesn't come with any kind of suction access for a hose vacuum to get sediment (picture 2) off the bottom. I had to order a battery cordless vacuum to hopefully get sediment off bottom. I cannot even net it with my microfiber net. These pools need and adapter to be able to hook a standard vacuum hose in order to vacuum using pump and filter. The pump and filter are surprisingly good, so far. I was impressed that it wasn't some cheesey pump and filter. It can be set time come on and run for selected number of hours up to 12 hours a day. Has internal clock to run at same time each day. Or can be set to run continuously. I'm excited to use this summer and this 26' is huge. I can swim short laps in it by myself, and is large enough to have several people in it. My family and friends will soon be invited for a BBQ. Make sure that you know the desired size for your area. I have a big yard so this was perfect. Even though a lot bigger than I thought and surprised by size and depth.

Nice large pool
Pool much bigger than anticipated, we really like the sand filter that comes with it, works well and the gauge is fantastic for letting you know what you need to do. Ground cover is very thin but thankful it was included. We did have an issue with the liner completely tearing however Amazon was fantastic about shipping us a new pool. Ladder is sturdy, take forever to fill up with a hose. Overall we’re happy with our purchase. We’ve owned several of these pools and they hold up for years in our crummy NY weather.

Easy to setup. Leveling is the hardest part. The absolute best thing about this pool is how it heats up and retains the heat. My previous 16ft pool would very rarley get to 80 and would normally sit at 75. This pool rarely goes below 80 and sits at 85 most of the time.

The only good thing about the Intex is the actual pool liner and rim and leg system being closed and extremely sturdy. I’ve had several Intex and the pumps are always at least two grades less than what’s adequate to filter your pool whether it be sand or filter. Ladder is garbage. Otherwise the best soft shelled pool out there on the market.

We actually loved the pool and got so much use out of it. It is well-made and worth the money however it did not come with the ground cover. We used sand on the ground prior to setting it up. Without the ground cover, we had a huge issue cleaning up afterwards, as sand was stuck to the bottom of the outside of the pool due to no ground cover being sent. When taking down the pool, this gave us a huge headache when closing up for this season. Other than this, the pool is so worth it. The sides of the pool were at least 5 feet high!

It only took a few hours for my husband and son to put it together. Very happy and satisfied with it. The only thing is putting the last piece in. Have fun.lol
