SERWALL Outdoor HDPE Dining Table Set, 7-Piece Outdoor Dining Table Sets with Umbrella Hole Cut-Out Table and 6 Chairs, Gray

I bought a set of 4 in dark blue. They appear to be sturdy quality. I just purchased additional Serwall Patio Chairs, 4 aqua chairs + table. They all are easy to assemble, are heavy so won't blow away. Durable and good lasting color, weatherproof. No future maintenance needed.

Very easy to put together. I did use a drill instead of the Alan key it came with, which saved a tremendous amount of time. The table and chairs seem solid. There is a little give in the seat but still feels sturdy. It is also very esthetically pleasing. It is fall where I live, but I cant wait to really use it this spring when it warms back up. I'll be putting a rug under it and decorating the top a bit. I really like it so far.

Fantastic!!! My son had this set by his pool and I liked it. I purchased for my lanai. It looks great and is so functional and sturdy. Chairs are wide and comfortable even without a cushion. The set has arm chairs which are perfect for elderly who need a little assist getting up. No concerns with flimsy weak hollow tubes for legs and or tipping over. Hardware quality was a grade above average and the predrilled holes were spot on. Assembly takes time, but I didn’t struggle with misalignments and terribly poor directions. Very, very well constructed.

The set seems pretty sturdy. However, they really should consider putting reinforced threads in the spots that screw together. If you turn the hardware just a tad bit too far it literally strips the hole out and then the hardware just continues turning and doesnt tighten. Also, I am only 165lbs and I notice that the seat slats flex down (bow) as my weight is put down on the chairs. They say the chairs hold up to 330lbs, and I hope that they are correct in that. I have several family members heavier than I am. Other than that, it was easy to assemble, and the perfect material for my outdoor patio area. I believe it will outcast a normal wood set. IF the seats hold their durability as they say, then I would purchase from this company again. I also got the glider and it is fantastic.

Very well made, but if you don't have a drill with a allen wrench bit you might want to rethink. Tons of bolts in the assembly with a small allen wrench. After wearing my hand out assembling a chair I paused and got a bit. We've had the set almost a year and still looks like new.

Final Update 01/02/2026: This HDPE (and LDPE) Furniture is very poorly milled. Most pieces are not square so unless you have the skills and want the chairs and table squared you’ll need to do it yourself. As for the permanent sagging in the chair seats IT WILL NEVER RETURN TO THE ORIGINAL POSITION. SERWALL stated to they are aware of the problem and offered to send replacement slats 1-3, NOT ALL 5 for each chair. Well the slats are substantially weaker LDPE SO THE SAME SAGGING WILL OCCUR. I declined. With all these design and manufacturing problems the furniture’s structural strength is compromised. Summary- You have protection through Amazon to deal with 3rd Party Sellers who don’t abide by Amazon’s 3rd Party Policies. Amazon A-Z Claims details everything you need to know to insure you are not ignored, told stories, etc. A Must Read For Your Protection. Update: I received a message reply from the Seller responding to my complaint the chair seats have a permanent severe sagging. The SERWALL Rep stated the chair seat slats are PE materials and bowing sagging is normal and the slat will return to its original position when unloaded. TWO serious problems with the SERWALL message. SERWALL advertises these as HDPE which is superior to PE. PE is a lesser Poly product and not nearly as strong or durable as HDPE. In another follow up message another SERWALL reply tried to walk back the PE statement by stating there sets are HDPE MATERIAL. Well this is still wrong and using using the word Material is not what they advertise. HDPE MATERIAL IS NOT HDPE. There are many explanations and manufacturing articles. HDPE VS PE, HDPE VS LDPE (Low density) see the opposite of HDPE (High density) SERWALL knows they are purposely misleading customers. Update End For Now. Looks good in the pictures, BUT once you receive it you discover material and build issues. We finally got around to assemble the set. (4 chairs and 1 6’ Table) First issue there are only 2 sets of chair hardware. So we assembled 2 chairs. Assembly is fairly easy, then we assembled the picnic table all went fairly well. (Some pieces were not square and some pre-drilled holes were off a bit). Table completed a little wiggly which is super annoying since we got this for the pool deck. (On a lawn one wouldn’t notice). Chairs not as wiggly but not square and true. (These sets are milled and if setup square each piece should be square) perhaps the milling machines are being slid around who knows. So we have 2 chairs and the table assembled and start using them daily and that’s when the BIG PROBLEMS ARE FOUND! The HDPE material used in the chair seats is not strong enough so that even a 125lb person sitting bows each chair slat most noticeable with the number 2 and 3 and they do not return to the original position. A HDPE chair that immediately developed a permanent sag! If you sit for any amount of time it’s quite uncomfortable as your butt is being molded into a 6” rectangle. The further you sit back in the chair the back chair seat slats numbers 3, and 4 start sagging. In doing some research of HDPE I’ve learned there are several grades and the grade is associated with the strength, finishing quality and color fading. This set must be of a lowest grade. Not manufactured squarely. Not strong enough to support even 125lbs without bowing / sagging. Sagging remains after weight is removed. Premature Color fading. Missing hardware is the absence of proper packing and inspection procedures. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

So far, so good. We put this on our beach condo balcony in September 2025. Took 3 men a few hours to put together, but I wouldn’t say it was difficult. Looks great. After a couple of renters, it has a few scratches on the table, but nothing major. Still looks good. I’ve seen the expensive name brand sets (at the beach) look terrible after 4-5 years, so I’m thrilled with the price we paid and the quality of this set! Ask me again in a year!!!

So far so good. A couple of things to note, the shipment comes in 5 packages, but they are not all shipped at once. I contacted the seller, to inquire about missing packages, because I had not received them all, but Amazon showed the shipping status as complete. I contacted the seller and they reassured me that the packages are shipped in separate shipments because of weight. I have received them all. Now to the product. They are heavy, as they are made of resin. They are extremely easy to put together, as every piece is formed and cut precisely. Tools are provided, thought I did find that having a power driver with the hex bit, as well as a box end wrench makes it go much faster. The wrench provided is not precise and the nut will slip as you go to tighten, hence the reason for the box end wrench. As well, because it is resin you have to be careful with a power driver not to over tighten. The chairs when first sitting in them will flex, and because they were sitting in the sun, the flex becomes permanent, however, I think this may be part of the design, as it was definitely more comfortable after the flex, and it did not flex more after the initial movement. The chairs are sturdy and wide, for those of us who are carrying around a little more experience. The table is steady nice. The umbrella, being as wide as it is, will turn in the wind. I will need to figure out a way to make it more stable. I have a cast iron umbrella base (17 lbs) and it still turns. Be aware of that, the umbrella is really big. As well, with the umbrella in the table, it is awkward to get under the ribs to get the crank started, but afterwards goes up smoothly. I am 5'8" and had a little difficulty getting the stay pin in the pole because it is set high. Be aware of that, and you may have to stand on your new sturdy chair to put in and take out the pin. Overall it is a good product, so far. We have enjoyed in several times, and feel that it is a good product.
