In the later spring and early summer the eastern morning sun hits the garage safety sensors making it impossible to close the door. If my wife was with me I could hold a piece of cardboard as a sun block.Installed this simple device and it works

These look great but will not fit on the new single leg style Chamberlain safety reverse bracket, you will have to buy a set of the old style two leg type. I may return these

These work well, though there are still some super sunny days when the garage door still won't close. Seems to work 99% of the time.
