Thus is a cute little box of metal toys. My son loves to build so he likes it, hes 8 years old. Would not recommend for younger children. But I'd buy this again.

The pieces are a thick enough gauge that they are sturdy enough. The instructions were good, just challenging enough to be fun. All the pieces were there; I think I noticed at least one extra piece. Seems like you definitely have the option of adding motors, pulleys, and weights to make the rudimentary crane functions even more exciting. On the downside, some of the pieces had a slight curve, not bent, just a slight curve, but it didn't get in the way. Everything lined up when it was put together. Also, some seemed to have been punched out of the sheet metal a little differently than the others that are supposed to be of the same type. You see it when you lay them together, but like I said, everything lined up when it was all put together. Came with tools. They look like they would probably make it through a few assemblies, but they're usually just a little something to get you started, so I used my own like I usually do. It's a hex key, metric 3. Used my thumb to hold the nuts while I turned the screws. Flew right through the Windmill instructions. Took it down and built the Tower Crane. Now we're doing something. Used almost every piece.
