During 50+ years of marriage we've accumulated Christmas tree ornaments. Some go back to my wife's childhood, ornaments that were on her family's tree when she was a child. We now have ornaments that we put on our first tree when we were married in 1965, through the birth of our daughter in 1970 and our grandchildren. We also have ornaments from many of our trips. With this little booth, she was able to use her cell phone to take great photos of the ornaments for a photo book she's putting together. This book, with the photos and stories, will be a great history of our family, told by beautiful photos of Christmas tree ornaments. It went together easily, and it's sturdy to stand up while you take pictures. The LED lights are quite bright and give you great photos. The plastic backgrounds can be wiped off if they get dirty; they alone are worth the price for the whole thing. No, it's not sturdy, but you don't need it to be sturdy, all it has to do is stand up for a few minutes while you take a photo. Then you want it to come down quickly, fold up small and be durable when it's put away. It meets all of those requirements.

If you have read some of the other reviews there are some things to note. The sides of the box are bowed in when first taking out of the box but after sitting put together for a day or two they are sitting fine. The snaps were a little trick to push together but once I got pieces in place and snaps connected it does seem stable. To the reviewer who said the changeable background sheets would not stay in place did not pay attention to how the sheets were meant to be were meant to be installed. There is one side (top part) that has half moons kinda of like in the box and and the half circles interlock for the background to stay up. There is no way they can easily slide off. The other side of the plastics sheets do not have any cutouts because they just slide into the half moons on the bottom of the box to keep pushed back and stay in place. I do not know if the instructions pointed this out out because it was so easy to put together that I never looked at them. I like the variety of background sheet colors to be able to play around with which one will show off the item best. I don't think I will travel with the photo box because it is not tiny (just look at the size of the area to photograph) and there are several background sheets. All the items I need to photograph are in one place so I will leave up until I am done then fold up and store. This will fold up small enough to store easily. To the posters that said the sticky tape for the LED strips could peel off, I did see one strip start hanging down a bit. The two sided tape is either not strong enough for the weight of the strip or the 100+ deg heat of travel and sitting outside after delivery impacted the adhesive. This is not a big deal for me because 1. this box was not that expensive and that is a minor issue in the scheme of things and 2. there are so many two sided foam tapes out in the market that will peel easily I am not surprised. I am just going to replace the double sided tape with Gorilla double sided tape I keep on hand for such issues (that how common peeling is) The only reason I took a star off was that the top back corners of the cube did not overlap enough when assembled that it could possibly show when taking a picture at an upward angle or a tall item. I have some white card stock I will just cut out to cover that spot and be much less obvious. Yes the box does need some minor modifications to make it really good for me. On the other hand I am very excited to start taking pictures of items and getting them posted online for sale. This box was a cost effective way to take better pictures than just putting a piece of paper on the table and hoping for the best. I will come back and update this review if I encounter more issues that make this box unusable. Fingers crossed that I have found all the quirks. So far I recommend this box as a cost effective way to take bright photos of small to medium items.

Perfect and I use it all the time, love that it’s foldable to store

This is great for small product photography. I use this along with a camera ring light stand that I got separately and it’s perfect for me. The stand it comes with appears cheap and flimsy. Also, I wish the backgrounds would stick better to give that clean finish, but they don’t. But if you’re looking for a low cost option to take product pics for your marketplace or some other work, this is a great option. It’s easy to setup and lightweight. The lighting is pretty good too.

I purchased this to create product photos for my online handmade candles, and this product fits my needs since I am a soloprenuer and I have to be a one-person army. I waited to write a review for this product so I have a chance to work with it extensively. Here are my experience working with this product: PRO 1. It is extremely easy to setup, take down, and store. 2. There are two very bright LED strips on top front and back of the light box. Ample to light most objects. 3. Multiple backdrops colors to give you an option. So far I find white being the most useful for my needs. 4. Reasonable price tag for what you get CON 1. The connection cable is cheaply made (it looks like they have made some improvement since my purchase). 2. There is no individual switch for each strip of LED. I use a power supply pack for my setup, and I have to disconnect the power pack, unplug the strip I do not want to use, and reconnect to the power pack IF I want to go from 2-strip lighting to 1-strip lighting. Otherwise all lights turn off as soon as you unplug one. Going from 1-strip to 2-strip lighting did not seem to cause the same issue. 3. The box itself is made of plastic and quite flexible. The light strips are attached to the box with double-sided tapes. If you leave the box snapped together for days, the LED strips will eventually peel away from the box. 4. The rear corners of the box have big holes where the sides if the box do not meet. If you are photographing small objects, these holes will not be covered and you will need to edit out these dark spots with a editing software such as Photoshop, etc. This is by far the worst point for me as I had to spend hours editing the images. 5. Pretty hard to get a hold of customer service. I have had this for slightly over 6 months now with spurts of usage when I have new products to offer. The cheap cable is giving me problem and the lights often do not turn on at all or suddenly turn themselves off. I had hope to get more usage out of this but it does not look like it will last much longer. When I replace it, I will definitely consider other brands before making another purchase.

The instructions were pretty useless, but I didn't even need them because it's so easy to figure out. You just open it up and fasten the snaps on each side. It stands up on its own, and it comes with 4 colored background sheets (white, black, light blue, and gray). It is true to size and my projects fit inside with ease. The hole on the top makes it super easy to take photos from overhead. I read some reviews about the lights not working so I did purchase additional LED lights just in case. However, my lights are working just fine. The remote switch is easy to use, switching the light from bright white, to medium white, to a more warm shade. You can also dim the light as you see fit. My tripod works fine also, not sure why others were broken. Lastly, it's very lightweight and easy to maneuver, making portability painless. I would definitely purchase this light box again, it's a great bargain.

I ordered this light box for my daughter. She runs a “slime shop” and a slime Instagram page lol. She was looking for something to help with lighting for her slime videos - showcasing her wares and clicky slime. So that’s where I’m coming from with this review :). Over all this light box works for what we need. I like the hole in the top. She can put her phone there for an overhead view of the slime. The lights are just ok. There are two led light strings. They aren’t super bright and there are still shadows no matter what angle you take pictures or videos. The plugs for the lights make me a bit nervous too because they are hard to connect. Seems like they could easily break but so far it’s ok. It’s easy to put together and fold but it’s a bit flimsy - shaky if you are filming slime 🤣 but fine for still photos. The colored backgrounds are nice - I like that they are plastic so they don’t stain. Again - probably better for still photos not squishing slime because they slide. But a piece of tape fixed that for us. So if you’re looking for a slime filiming studio that’s compact and folds up - this will work. Lol I’ll attach a video so you can see.
