I just have to tell you about the "HOMCOM Mini Freezer Countertop, 1.1 Cu.Ft " that I purchased and how great it tis. Arrived well packaged, without incident, started right up and very detailed instructions. I've had it running for exactly one month today and has worked just fine. I keep it at #3 setting, and it is very quiet except for the occasional click of the shutting off cycle. I live in a rented room so I'm really glad it is quiet. Someone mentioned that it is not frost free and that it was a big mess when defrosting, but mine only built up a thin layer of ice in one month. I decided to thaw it just to see what would happen. Well instead of putting a tray in front for melted ice I just laid two hand towels inside and they absorbed what water was in there after the ice melted. Very nice little freezer that keeps everything frozen hard. Not a bad price either.

Perfect small freezer. Keeps everything frozen, one shelf, which makes it easy to put things in like a bucket of ice with your ice cubes perfect for my husbands Man cave to keep him out of my fridge in the kitchen lol

This is ICE COLD FROZEN! I love the color, it shipped fast, and it was easy to set up. I bought a stand for it to go on (separate review) and it fits perfectly. It's small but it holds a lot of stuff. I've only have it for a couple weeks so far, so I haven't had to defrost it yet. If I do and that's an issue, I'll update my review. But for now I'll say this is a GREAT LIL FREEZER!

Arrived 2 days early! Amazon said Saturday, UPS said Thursday and it arrived Thursday!. Un boxed and set up 2:30pmCDT. Worked great. left home about noon Friday, returned about 2:00pm. Opened the door to get some ice cream out and no cold air escaped. Compressor pulling full power heat rolling out in back and NOT COOLING inside. TOTAL PIECE OF CRAP. LET it cool off completely and tried again...Compressor gets hot but no cooling. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! t-stat was set on middle setting. ambient room temp 72deg F AMAZING!! less than 24hrs to fail completely

Great little freezer, does what it’s supposed to do with no leakage. I haven’t had any problem with not freezing well. There’s less room inside than I expected and on the bottom ‘shelf’ bottles do not want to stay- they roll out. But most of these small freezers have this in common. It’s on the noisy side but it’s what I expected. Best part- they give you a little ice cube tray that makes tiny little ice cubes!!

Good little freezer. I feel it’s important to mention that you have to put this freezer where you want it and let it sit for 24 hours in its upright position. Why? Because when it was transported it was likely laid on it side or even upside down at some point. This means the compressor oil won’t be settled so it can work properly inside the compressor. By letting the unit sit, you are allowing time for the oil to settle where it’s supposed to be. For the people who had these fail in a short amount of time, it’s because the oil wasn’t given time to settle before operation which then in turn damaged the compressor. Guaranteed. If you follow this one rule, then you should have good luck with this freezer! Also, as a side note about noise. It is fairly quiet when the compressor is on and consistently running. However, there is a noticeable click when the compressor kicks on after it has been off. This may make it not worth it for people who want it in sleeping areas like a bedroom.

Good little freezer, gets legit cold, freezes ice fast. Does build-up ice inside pretty quickly and needs to be scraped and/or defrosted often. But otherwise works well.
