This corset is absolutely stunning in person. I was surprised at the quality for the price, but it exceeded my expectations. The colors are true to life and the corset if surprisingly comfortable. I am so excited to wear it for an upcoming renaissance festival, but I will be wearing it in its own with jeans later too because it’s that gorgeous. It’s easy to put on and lace up. I am having a hard time keeping the laces tied but mainly it’s because I was trying to avoid putting knots in the ties. There is a convenient zipper on the side so you can easily get out of the top.

I am 5’2”, 145lbs, typically wear size M/L & 36C and ordered the size 12. All I did before wearing this to a Renn Faire was touch up the laces so they looked neater. It feels very well made and was just the right length and size- snug but not uncomfortably so. The zipper was a little tricky to get lined up, but once I did it zipped easily without help. There is not a ton of adjustment in the laces, so if you’re looking for a true corset you can cinch tight, this may not be the best option. The print was great and would go with a lot of outfits, looked beautiful all day over my sundress, and I didn’t want to take it off! I will definitely wear again.

I love the fabric and the design is gorgeous, it's a very good thickness and weight. All of the fabric patterns Scarlett darkness offers for these bodices are beautiful and i found myself spoiled for choice. They even have a modesty panel that rests behind the laces which many bodices don't have. The only flaw I've discovered (and may be specific to me and other longer torso individuals) is that the bodice from top to bottom is short and rides a bit high at my waist (I'm 5'3"), so offering the bodice in a longer style would be nice. On me it's about two to three inches short from top of the garmet to where the 'waist' of garmet is. One could pull it down slightly but the straps are short as well and, although they're adjustable, lengthening them causes a gap between the bodice and strap that takes away from the look of the bodice. The zipper on the side is awkward to handle and, this is a personal preference, the entire bodice would be easier managed with front laces and avoid the production cost and possible breakage of a zipper. But the quality has to be the best that I've found for bodices on Amazon. And I'd much rather have a bodice made from quality materials that's just a bit off fit, than one made cheaply that fits perfect. The price is very affordable and won't break the bank to have an essential piece of garb. Though I don't believe I'd purchase another bodice here, I'll definitely recommend Scarlett darkness for those shopping for garb on a budget and I'm now thinking I'll try some of their available shirts and chemises.

Beautiful bodice. I originally bought this for a one time outfit for my daughter, and it's a whole size down for me, but I added it to my wardrobe after the event. Because of the lacing, I can still use it. The zipper makes it easy to get on and off, and it is sturdy so far. The fabric is like a soft, thin canvas. It's flexible between the bones. The number of bones in this bodice give it a nice shape, and it holds everything where you put it while lacing. Even with so much structure, it's easy to move around in and comfortable to wear and drive in. The green floral on white is delicate and pretty, and I can make it work with alot of pieces in my closet. I purchased on sale, and it was definitely worth it. I do have some other patterns that I want that I haven't managed to make myself pay full price or even mildly-on-sale price for, but that's mostly because I'm not confident I could make it work for a work outfit.

I love every corset I have purchased from Scarlett Darkness! VERY plus size friendly, I can get it on and off alone. It feels like it will hold up over time. There is a large pattern-matched piece of fabric that goes behind the lace that can be a little tricky to wiggle into place but makes it work for a wider variety of sizes. Will likely order from them again!

The pros: This is an adorable bodice! I ordered the orange flower pattern and it looks beautiful and is easy to put on and off w/ the zipper. It has nice, simple ribbons and the price is great for a intro piece into cottagecore. The cons: it's all polyester (which I know keeps the price low) so not a super high quality forever piece. It's a bit short and even the smallest size they seem to have (a 6) is not quite tight enough for me. I have to lace it as tight as it goes and i wish i could do just a little more. I'm 5"9 and 130 lbs... if they sold this in a 4, I'd get it (but usually I'm a 6 or an 8). Overall, it's great. Good value for the money and a great looking piece.

This is so cute and I love that you can tighten it with the ribbons on the back for a better fit. I am really impressed

Was going to return this as it was too big and the fit just wasn’t right but missed the window by 4 days, now it will just be sitting in my closet
