Best JPG Le Male Dupe, Better Than Newer Batches
Fantastic alternative to JPG Le Male original. Same minty lavender freshness with that nice vanilla undertone. Fresh, slightly sweet, but entirely masculine. As an EDP, I would argue that performance is better than newer batches of the original, while staying very true to the scent, which to me justifies this purchase despite the fairly low price tag of the original. Fragrantica claims this to be a fairly all year fragrance, but I'm unsure how much I would recommend wearing this in the warmer weather. The barber shop freshness could work if not too warm, but the added sweetness may make it too much to really be successful in the summer heat. That being said, fantastic for any of the cooler weather seasons, or cooler indoor environments. Great date night scent, great for the office if you spray wisely and prefer a more unique profile than other office friendly freshies, and great for casual or maybe even formal nights out. Dry down is pleasant and vanillic while still maintaining some of that lavender note. Highly recommend if you enjoy the more "old school" scent profiles. I would not call this modern by any means, but if you're younger and confident you may be able to pull this off as something not so common. Personal tip: Layering this on top of either Le Male Elixir or The Kingdom by Lattafa is a fantastic way to add long lasting freshness to the more warm vanilla dry down of these two fragrances. Definitely adds to the projection, so be prepared to be noticed if you layer them, and be mindful of other people. Or don't. Up to you.

I'm in LOVE
I had to write a review right away, because this is genuinely one of my favorite fragrences I own (and I own a LOT - including dozens of high end brands). Its sparkly and juicy in the beginning, and quickly dries down to a beautiful, juicy pear blended perfectly with a creamy vanilla. The sillage is incredible. The wear is strong for about 4 hours, then becoming more personal for another 3-5. Lasts longer in clothes. I never got to smell the OG, so idk how well they compare, but im THRILLED with this purchase! So much so that I plan to buy a back up for when I run out.

Long lasting and aromatic
This perfume is really good, especially for the price. You would think that it’s more expensive because it really lasts a long time on your skin. The only thing is that if you wanna wear it, it has to be more like any colder weather, but I really do love it on my man. I love it on me. I think we would both share it, even though it’s for specifically men, but I like wearing it. It smells really good on my skin and it lasts all day. It reminds me of saltwater Cypress by crimo the cologne. Those are the types of fragrances that I would honestly wear. The next one I want to try is the glacier perfume, for women and I wanna try their vanilla and I wanna try their musk. I would love to try the rest of those, but at the moment I’m going to try this one more, and I’m gonna spend more time with it when the colder weather comes just to see how well it projects on my skin it already projects pretty good on my skin when it’s hot, but I would prefer a lot of my fragrances to be more in the colder weather because they’re more diffusive, and a lot more fresher.

Very Close Clone of Baccarat Rouge 540
I tried Winsome (YSL Tuxedo clone) and was highly impressed with Maison Alhambra. It hit the same notes about 95% of the time and at a fraction of the cost of Tuxedo. It was excellent from first spray and probably will improve. Supposedly the middle eastern frangraces need to sit for a while. Baroque Rouge is quite good too. The opening smells like the OG but with something rubbery which I don't like at all. At first I thought I had wasted my money but thankfully the rubber smell disappeared after about 15 to 20 minutes. Then, it was the pure, airy and light OG. Smelled in on my clothes the next day and it was still just like the original. If you can get past the rough opening this is a great substitute for BR540. Some will nit pick this to death but most people will not notice any difference between the clone and the OG. The bottles are heavy and the atomizer works like a charm so there is a whole lot of quality here at a very reasonable price. Even the box it comes in is a classy clone of the original.

smells lie a rich person. - Its a Patek Phillippe at a Timex price. if you get the drift
This is one of the best purchases we have made. This perfume is inspired by Bacarat Rouge. It is absolutely classy and strong. the scent projects a lot and leaves a mesmerizing, almost hypnotic trail behind. This lasts well into the 12-15-hour time frame. and the warm, lusty, boozy embrace of oud lasts on clothes for days. This generous 3.5 oz / 100ml bottle will last long. you only need to apply a small spray or two at best. I am sure there will be some who find it overpowering, but I believe most will enjoy this rich, expensive-smelling adornment. It tells a story - you will have to be creative to follow along.

Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money. There's a reason why this one never got much hype. Purely a skin scent. Maybe smells like some cheap hand soaps that are available in public/fast food restaurants. Doesn't smell like almond. Doesn't smell like jasmine. Doesn't smell like the original BR540. Smells like it wasn't stored properly & lost what it was supposed to smell like. But it doesn't have either the burnt sugar or fir resin smell of the original BR540 that gave that one some strength. Has an almost maraschino cherry fruity sweetness, but very mild, and that's not a listed note. There's a tiny bit of something else there, but it's barely noticeable despite spraying ~10 sprays (I layer fragrances, so never put on that much of any one fragrance). Trying to decide if there's any usefulness worthy of 2 stars, or whether I need to send it back & give it 1 star. Update: I asked for a refund & threw the bottle in trash. I've had bottles of BR 540/BR 540 extrait clones/dupes go bad previously (despite storing them properly; all my other colognes were fine). So I don't think I'll be buying one again any time soon.

Spray top leaks
Smells good but top leaks when the lid is put on and taken off…so I can’t really travel with it because it leaks.
