Awesome light kit / perfect fit
The overall installation process for a tacoma was pretty straight forward, I spent more time trying to figure out how to remove the inner tire well plastics than anything else. The instructors were a bit confusing to read, but I just mostly used the one diagram for mounting the brackets to the light housing. Everything from that point was plug and play. On my tacoma, the positive wires were colored, and negative wires were white with black stripe. The positive and negative wires on the converter strip were brown and black, respectively. It was easier to keep the same wire color convention as the rest of the vehicle. The kit mounted directly into the factory the plugs / location seamlessly. The amber lights generally aim in the same same peripheral areas as the stocks light, however with greater depth down the road. Ive only been flashed once from oncoming traffic while in use, yet the ambers arent overpowering like some of ultra white bulbs / white light bars that Ive seen on other vehicles. The amber is more tolerable from what Ive observed thus far. Ambers are definitely help with snow , fog, and white wash conditions from wind blowing loose snow around. The loose snow agitated by oncoming traffic is no longer a zero visibility condition, the lights cut right through the white wash. I will come back to update when I experience prolonged white wash and see how they compare to the factory white fog lights. So far the housing units have experienced -10F to -30F temperatures without any issues thus far.

Great fog lights would buy again
Super bright and have a great look. The design and construction are very high quality. After seeing how nice these are will probably do Baja Designs for other lighting needs. They are pricey but after seeing quality, I get it. The install is easy as well, just YouTube any of the install videos. One tip on installation I didn’t see anywhere is to use electrical tape on the tabs that hold the fog lights place. It creates a tight fit with no play or room for movement. They give you cheap rubber that’s sticky on one side. Throw that away and cut standard electrical tape in half length wise and wrap until thick enough to fit snuggly, works so much better.

watch some youtube vids cause the instructions arent the best. for each light
very simple install in a 2018 4runner, watch some youtube vids cause the instructions arent the best.for each light, there is a tabbed attachment and one with holes. it just slides into the same spot as the oem. i ended up using a razor blade to cut thin strips from the foam they provide so that the tabbed side of the light doesnt have any play(this is a relatively new procedure as the installs on youtube did not mention it). i had to test the lights before securing them in the harness by plugging the leads in and wedging some electrical tape between and turning the fogs on to make sure the polarity was correct, i did not have a multimeter with me. the light is built very well and it has the ability to cange the front plastic to a combo pattern for different conditions. it is so bright, i will stay with the wide pattern. i may even tint them yellow or something because they are so bright. they actually make my headlights disappear when they are on. i only have upgraded higher wattage 6000k bulbs i got from tokyo, not sure on brand. very happy with purchase and install

Excellent performance for the small size
Had the opportunity to use this at 6800+ foot overpass in the fog and these worked out really well. The installation is really easy and the factory 4TRDOR fog light switch worked as expected. CON: You can only use one screw to mount these. It shouldn't be a problem, but since these are specifically sku'd for 4runners, the mounting plate should be made to use both factory mounting points. You also have to trim the wind shield on the passenger side. Still not sure why that's even there, but it might be to stop the windshield tank from freezing? Not sure... I stripped the only screw on one side, so I clipped a small piece of zip tie and stuck it in the hole and all is well. The adjustment was made to make sure both lights were projecting the same height. I used my leg and hand to measure one and move over to the other side to check.... It's not science, but it turned out to work correctly. There's no beam pattern, but you should still try to get these lights to be at the same angle.

Best fog lights on the marketplace
I was skeptical at first about purchasing these as it is a rather high price point. With that being said the first time I got to use these in dense fog and white out conditions I was so happy to have them. I live in the high county if Colorado and going into spring we have a lot of weird weather, for example its May 21st and we just got 2 feet of snow. Whether its driving at night on streetlightless roads, foggy nights, snow storms or what have you I can safely say these Squadron fog lights are the best mod I've put on my truck other than HIDs. I normally would not have purchased this item due to the high price, but I used my part of my tax refund on my truck and I can safely say it was worth every penny

Supplied screws did not thread into insert
True to Baja Design the lights works at described, however, supplied screws used to attach bracket to the fog light did NOT thread into inserts. Had to make a trip to hardware store to get proper size screw and some loc tight to get job done. Not cool, esp paying top dollar for these lights

I have 4Runner limited Nightshade. The installation will be bit hard if you have no skills for 4Runner limited owners. I had to take out the bracket from the bumper to install this Squadron. The quality of the product is the best of the best.
