The best 30" Ceiling fan/ Light combo available
Why did you choose this product over others?: Performace: 10/10 Extremely powerful DC hub motor allows a slow but still really effective setting that is silent. Put it on 6 and you can have a tornado in your house if you wish Power efficiency: 10/10 Compared to your typical desk fan, this uses LESS thanks to the DC motor that's inside. On number one which as mentioned is very effective and the setting I think most would have it on, it costs £0.005146 an hour to run at the UK price cap. Incredible efficiency Light: 10/10 Perfectly serviceible light, stepless dimming with the remote. Able to choose a warm 3000K light, a natural 4200K (Default) and a cool 6500K Ease of Installation 2/10: This is on the very limit of DIYability. You will need experience with how main lights are wired with all the weird UK loops etc. You will also need to ensure that there is a beam above where you want to install it. These are present able most light fixings in the UK, but if you have a hone that has lots of additions it will be something to keep in mind. Multiple tool will be required: -Phillips PH2 screwdriver (General assembly -8mm socket with drill/screwdriver attachement (Installing longer screws into wood beam, alternatively use you own longer screws) - Small ratchet with PH2 bit or right angle screwdriver (Installing last 2 screws that hold top bell housing on, very tight clearance for typical screwdriver) -Various electrical installation equipment (Wire cutters, strippers, Twin&earth, Junction box + Wagos or other similar wire blocks, multimeter/voltage stick -Drill/impact driver (optional, for installing big screws into beam) In my case, I had a hanging pending fixing. The ceiling fan has no inbuilt wiring center like these and only wants a single cable with Live, neutral and Earth. This meant I had to go into the loft and install a junction box, and make a short flying lead to the fan. Once again, if you do not have previous experience with how UK lights are wired, get a professional in to install this. Extra functions: Reversible - In the UK, we typically have radiators that tend to keep a lot of heat towards the top of the room. This fan has a button so you can reverse it, which should allow for more even heating in the winter. Unfortunately I haven't had it long enough to put this to the test Timer - A settable 1, 3 or 6 hours time to turn it off after Sleep mode - This varys the Fan between setting 1-3 which is supposed to immitate a natural breeze, it does work quite well if you like that, but I prefer just to keep it on setting 1 Overall, this is an absolutely amazing ceiling fan. I've had the ones that go into an existing light fitting, and a different style permanently installed one, and this tops them all. 10/10 Cooling effect: Very effective from a low speed while being near silent Value for money: Poor compared to other fans but worth it in my opinion Looks: Looks more stylish than all other 30" fans in my opinion Weight: Quite heavy, make sure you have a solid beam to mount this on Build quality: Seems solid all round, fan blades seem like a quality blend and definitely fibre renforced. Functionality: Everything that you need from a fan/light combo on the large ease to use remote.

Great fan
This fan is great. I've only had it a week, and I've already recommended it to several friends. An electrician fitted it for me easily. I don't think you need to be an expert DIYer to do it yourself, as the instructions were fairly good (even tho they were just pictures) It's lovely and quiet on the low speeds, and even in the hot weather, the low speed gives out a gentle cool breeze. It's a bit like a hurricane on no6!! I haven't tried the lights much, but there are three tones, and all of them can be dimmed. The timer is super useful as well, as on hot nights, I've put it on and fallen asleep, knowing it will turn off. My only issue is the remote control has a very loud beep every time you press it. I emailed the company and within a couple of hours they sent me instructions on how to disable the beep (but this involves dismantling, and removing a piece from the circuit board) I'm going to live with it for a bit.... Overall a great bargain, and I'd definitely recommend.

Nicely made, well designed, attractive, effective.
This is pretty much as well made, good looking, and easy-to-fit a unit as you could hope for. Turned into a bit of a nightmare for me, because my ceiling didn't have a support joist anywhere near where I wanted it to go, so my advice to you would be to check your ceiling for support *before* you buy it :) But having sorted that, now it's up, it looks nice. Getting all the cables into the cowl at the top is the hardest part, but you only have to do that once, and the design means you're not struggling to support the weight of the fan while you do it. Could have been much worse! Good light, clear remote, strong fan, not too noisy. Very happy with it!

Brilliant
This is an incredible product. We've had it for a year now. It was fairly easy to fit and has plenty of settings. The fan is not too loud on the lowest settings that you're likely to use for sleep, whilst still making a big difference. The light also works well which was important to us as we only use the light function in winter months. It has been indispensable during heat waves. Would highly recommend. Well worth the £77.99 we paid for it.

How did we manage without this?
excellent piece of kit, super quiet when in use, brightness options of light are a bonus as i was dreading having a light that was too bright in a bedroom. This is a real bonus in our room, we will add more to our home for sure!

2nd purchase, it’s a God send!
Purchased during June’s heat wave for the bedroom after buying one for the front room. 6 speeds but we like the gentle breeze on setting 1 it’s silent which means we can sleep with it on without being disturbed. Video shows speed 1 and speed 6. The light is very bright with 3 colour options but dimmable. Perfect size for a double room. Installed by my dad, he made it look easy but it is very heavy and needs be anchored well into the ceiling. Remote is clear & simple to use.

Broke within 8 months
Not a very good product as I purchased this in November and it has lasted me 8months and am now having to buy a new one as the remote control is not working.
