This is a no brainer purchase if you plan on carrying the earbuds anywhere. The case/charger that JBL uses for the earbuds doesn't have a lid, so there is no possible way you can carry them anywhere without the risk of losing them. And forget about charging them while you're on the go. The case, fits over the case/charger, and the lid holds the earbuds securely in place in your pocket so they can recharge. Should come with the earbuds, but since it doesn't, just add this onto the order, or order it now if you don't have one. Once on, you never have to remove it, there is an opening to plug in a USB3 cable to recharge the case.

Case cover is great but the lid ripped off with minor use while I wasn't looking. The magnets are strong enough that you kinda don't need it though

Very easy to slide cover on charging base, but lid/cover is being held by a small strand of plastic and has fallen off ver easily from my silicone case, not worth the price

Bought this to protect my JBL earbuds with their silly topless case. This case fits well though the fragile thin silicone strap connecting the lid to the body is not going to last long. The top fits snugly enough to keep itself closed, will be fine in my carry on bag, not sure how it would be in a pocket. Another issue was the flimsy carabiner that was useless on arrival, easily replaced with a functioning one from my collection. The silicone is already attracting dust, but so would the earbuds in their factory JBL case.

JBL should've never released an ear bud docking base without a cover. This silicone cover looks like it came factory, It fits perfect and closes tight. I only wish it came in red or JBL orange. It does look awesome on my wife's white bud case. I did find a hot pink one for her's, but it came in looking a little purple and doesn't close as tight as this one.My only negatives are the oval carabiner clip, I wish it was the regular shape, and this type of silicone attracts dust and pet hair. Very noticeable in black.

The lid won’t ever close

Didn't last long, the cover came right off after like 3 days.

Its flimsy broke at the attachment and didn't fit. I didn't have the time to return now ate the $10.00.
