Great taste!

Superb olive oil from Italy. One of the very best I've tasted. If only it wasn't so expensive but it's worth it. Unfortunately, it's become increasingly difficult to find. Fabulous on salads, bread, bruschetta, etc. Fantastic for making great sauces.

After trying and loving a wide variety of extra virgin olive oils from many different Italian regions, I read about Sardinian olive oil and it's benefits. San Giuliano is absolutely magnificent. Thus far, it is my all-time favorite. The fresh, grassy aroma is immediate, inviting and warm. The decadence of it's fruity taste is round, deep and rich, yet not at all overpowering. For me, it is extremely reminiscent of the luscious Sicilian varietals such as Frantoia and Monte Pollino. I use it on and for everything; including sautéing and roasting. Drizzled atop rustic bread as bruschetta/crostini, or over fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil makes an antipasto fit for a king! Some say the unique and delicious taste of San Giuliano is attributed to the salty sea breeze which blows across the grasses, herbs and ancient olive trees across old Sardinia. The centenarians of the island attribute their longevity to their wine, cheese, fish and extra virgin olive oil. I couldn't agree more! I highly recommend this exquisite product. A million thanks to the people of Alghero and San Giuliano for all that you do! Your hard work and dedication is remarkable!

I am an second generation Italian and have had a a diet that is followed by the Blue Zones. Olive oil has always been a big part in our diet as young as 2 and 3 years of age. I have become interested in the many type of olive oil and researched extensively from Spain, Greece, and of course Italy, California. I find this product from Sardinia to excel in quality, taste and for its medicinal qualities. In include this oil in our food over veggies, fish, etc, and even a tablespoon in the morning before breakfast for it's health support, it has lowered my inflammatory markers as well as increased my HDL. Most importantly, ITS DELICIOUS!!!!
