XG2T XBOOM Go Wireless Speaker with Powerful Sound and up to 10 HRS of Battery

What a great little speaker, each company has a "sound" and LG is no different, but the sound is good, the sound is very clear, and it gets very loud for such a small speaker. The price can vary, but it is generally much less than similar speakers from other brands, here on amazon, I purchased two of these for less than the regular price of the similar Bose Soundlink Micro 2 or the JBL Clip 5, two of these are just a few dollas more than one regularly priced Sony SRS XB100. LG is a top tier Company, but their speakers don't get the same attention as their the electronics and that's a shame. if you have a preference for a particular brand you might find fault with the sound quality of these LG speakers, but the sound is very pleasing, not a "bassy" and full like the Bose or JBL and perhaps not as rich as the Sony but you would only notice those differences if you were to listen to the different models back to back. On there own these little gems sparkle, they have a clear sound that leans a little bit more toward the mids and highs but they never get too harsh and they do serve up a bit of bass as well, so they are very dance-able (that's very important to me in a speaker) they serve 80's and 90's R and B really well, as well as country, jazz, and pop. Vocals sound really great as well, in fact, vocals is one of this speakers best genre's! These speakers work well with my modern bluetooth Phones and tablets, as well as working well with my older devices too. The attached bungee is also very handy, it works in a very clever way and can attach very firmly to a variety of different objects! The controls are easy to master, the volume Knob is a no-brainer, the bluetooth button does what you expect, and the play-pause button will skip and repeat tracks. There is a sound mode button that rotates between standard sound, enhanced sound and a custom sound mode that is set up In the xboom app. Things to note, the app must be used to create a stereo pair or a party group, that means you must use a modern phone to pair two of these together, before you can use them as a pair with your PC or TV. or any device that does not support the xboom app. Battery life can drain away very fast when playing loud, especially in stereo pair mode but this is not unique to these speakers as I've noticed the same phenomenon with the Bose Soundlink micro 2's. The stereo communication between the speakers can be fragile, depending upon the environment, this can be true for any "True wireless Stereo" speakers, but I noticed it much more on these speakers than on the Bose or Sony speakers. The communication breakdown doesn't happen so often that it's a problem, but it did happen often enough to be worth pointing out. I own both the Bose and Sony speakers that I mention, and when I compare them to these little LG speakers, I find that I gravitate to these LG's over the other two especially in less intimate settings, like working out, or working on my car. The Sony's shine in intimate settings like sitting at my desk or listening in bed. All this being said, if you want a little speaker that is a great value and that sounds great, these "little gems" are hard to beat, I love them and would buy them again.

This little speaker is incredible! It was so super-easy to connect and pair with my LG smart TV. The sound quality is unbelievable. USB rechargeable means no batteries. If you’re on the fence on this one, let me assure you it is well worth the money.

Only complain, that battery life could've been better. For $30 this is amazing value, highly recommended ! Materials are great, very portable, connects easyly, app is good.

It's small, powerful, and sturdy. The sound is a bit muddy, but I understand that it's inevitable for a small size to produce a large volume. I previously purchased one through an Amazon affiliate site in Korea, and I heard that two can be connected at the same time, so this is the second product I purchased. I was satisfied with the powerful sound when I connected two. * This purchase was delivered without the inner plastic packaging and the manual (warranty card). I can't think of anything like that happening, so I'm upset that I can't provide any evidence because I didn't leave any video footage when opening it, so there's no way to protest or get an apology. It's probably not a packaging issue with Amazon or the manufacturer, but rather a problem that occurred during customs clearance, but since there's no way to prove it, I'll just end it by saying that there's nothing wrong with the product itself.
