I ended up needing to take the flapper door off because it wouldn't open fast enough and water would still leak around the sides. Once the door is removed it works just fine

I took the advice of another reviewer and took off the spring-loaded cap. My washer hose went right in. It fit my 2-in pipe. No more bad smell in my laundry room/ pantry. Absolutely amazing piece!.

Its not designed for wall drain boxes behind the washer. The water pressure from the drain cycle blew the plug and tube off the drain while randomly washing my walls, the ceiling, and the tile floor. It might work for regular standing drains but not those built ins!

We moved into a house with two washer hookups on separate floors and I needed this to close off on the one we will not use. I understand it’s actually made for sealing the space around the hose but it comes with a plug to close off the hole completely and it is perfect. It’s all flexible and fits perfectly! Great quality!
