Dr. Martens Men's Boyle Slip-On Loafer

Maybe I am a lucky guy, but the shoes fit perfectly. I am giving a FOUR star rating only because Dr. Marten does not offer half sizes. I live in the country and about the only choice are Romeo style boots, which do not fit my feet and I hate the tags. I gambled on these shoes to do hiking in the Missoula Flood areas, mostly desert and rocky terrain and I believe they will hold up well. They are not LIGHTWEIGHT shoes as I commonly see in discount shoe stores, but actually look and feel like they will last. I will update.

Durable outer. Behind the heel has started to wear through from regular use. However, it should be noted that three or four days a week I was walking 5 to 10 miles a day in these for about four months.All told they are still holding up very well.I recommend mink oil for them for at least the first couple months.

My husband has been wearing Dr. Martens to work for years, and these did not disappoint. After a few days break in period, they are extremely comfortable and can be worn standing for several hours with no irritation.

Great shoe. Super comfortable right out of the box. I'm a true 9.5 in most everything so I was very leery of getting the size right. In fact, I never write reviews but I wanted to give back since I relied heavily on these to make my pick. I ordered both a 9 and a 10. These run a bit small and the 9 is perfect. The 10 was way big for me. Sent 10's back. Hope this helps someone.
