I bought this for my toddler son but he wasn't too interested so I'm playing with it myself! This is perhaps not suited for kids below 3 or 4 years of age. Pros: 1. Very large model and seems to be well-built. I've hit it against walls and it hasn't broken so far. 2. The controls are excellent. There's forward, backwards, left and right and door opening and closing. Back in my day, we didn't get these many controls on remote cars. 3. The remote is small and simple. Though cheaply made, it seems good enough for the price. 4. Tyres have good grip and the level of detail is surprising for this price. 5. Fit and finish levels are better than what I expected at this price. 6. Rechargable battery seems to last for more than an hour. 7. Comes with a micro-usb cable for charging the built-in battery. 8. Drifts are easy to do with this! Cons: 1. The doors are not perfectly flush fitting when closed. There's a lot of play to them. 2. Doors may break as they are very flimsy. 3. The remote takes 2 extra batteries which ran out faster! 4. The micro-usb plug wasn't going into the micro-usb port. So I used the micro-usb cable of my kindle and it worked fine. I think the tolerances on that micro-usb cable are not very good. But it's a forgivable miss. 5. There was a slight stickiness on the forward and backward buttons, I undid the remote and removed some excess plastic bits that were causing it to stick when pressed in. It fixed the issue. Perhaps a bit better finish on the buttons is needed. This is not a deal-breaker. 6. When the door button is pressed, a servo motor seems to go round and round in circles while the doors keep opening and closing. So if you kept the door button pressed, they'd keep opening and closing. You have to time the button press duration right to get the doors to fully close shut. When I was a kid, I didn't have RC cars that could have these many functions at this price point. I'm thoroughly enjoying this as a fully grown adult. I can't speak for kids (I am sure they'd love them even more!) Having an RC car with rear wheel drive and front wheel steering is quite fun. I didn't know I would enjoy this so much.

Don't buy it. First recieved defect product and got it replaced and the replaced product stopped working in 1 day. Now its not charging. The battery is good but the chipset burned out. Better to go buy in the shop so that they take responsibility.

Built quality should have been better. The USB port got bent and is of no use now. As long as it was working it was good.
