This was a much better purchase then I ever expected. This Tungsten sharpener put a razor edge on every piece of my lawn equipment. This is the first time I've ever bought a Tungsten sharpener I've been missing out I'll definitely be using this for many years to come excellent tool for many different surfaces from lawn mower blades to trimming shears to household scissors or even a pocket knife this thing will sharpen any thing with an edge. Get you one and I bet you'll be as happy as I am with this Blade Sharper. Will probably last a lifetime as it's very durable and made really good. I didn't realize how strong a metal Tungsten actually is. As this Sharpener will strip back any metal since it's made from Tungsten. And it has a nice design appearance and again it works really well. l think that it's very easy for anyone to use too. 👍🏻

It does the job. It really depends on how you use it. This is REALLY good for backpacking because of how useful it can be for ALL tools that need to hold a sharp edge. Good for your knives (yes and no, i'll explain) and your hatchets/axe. It comes with 2 sides... you need to angle it so that it doesn't touch the flat side... it's the corner that really sharpens/chips off material to form an edge. I really like the ceramic to hone my kitchen blades but never really sharpen it. For my hatchet, I go full on both sides. It's value for money is pretty good. The wear and tear isn't bad, The edge of the metal side is still sharp as ever and the ceramic barely even looks used. The only PROBLEM with wear and tear is that if you are not careful you can slice the plastic at the top of the tool which may or may not make it come loose. I generally do about atleast 10-20 passes for sharpening and 8-15 for honing. It's pretty good in general, just keep the angle. However, if I had to buy this again, I'd probably buy the other with with the diamond sides and the leather sheath with the strop.

I needed something to sharpen my knifes out in the field, let me tell you This work's great , There is a learning curve, Once you figure it out , all your knifes will be sharp, it's easy once you master the potion, and angle which is easy and fun. Very good value, I recommend. . ...

Maneggevole ed efficace. Bisogna imparare, ma è semplice, a usarlo bene. Sembra un giocattolo ma affila molto bene. Ci si mette un po' più di tempo con lame grandi ma il risultato è buono. Avere anche la parte in ceramica è importante perché elimina le sbavature senza subire danni. Complessivamente sono soddisfatto e lo consiglio, senza pretendere di voler affilare una Katana o un machete.

This sharpener really is amazing! It doesn’t look like much & I was doubtful to be honest. You simply run the dull side (carbide) over the very edge of your scissors lots of times until you see shiney bare metal again. Then switch to the mirror-like side (ceramic) and run that up and down until it glides smoothly, as that should mean the blade is straight without metal bumps/shavings in the way. My scissors are now SUPER SHARP and I’m ordering a second one to do my rusty garden tools. Great buy everyone!
