Lightning Reaction Reloaded Shocking Game - The Quick Reaction Shocking Finish Game for the Whole Family

Recommended for fun. Not recommended for weenies. Bought this as a gift for a 19 year old nephew to use with his friends but all of the adults wanted to try it. It is lightweight so could be classified as "cheap", but it is completely functional and constructed fine for what it is. First, everyone gets ready holding their controller...but then...the music starts. The music alone created suspense which made the anticipation of the shock worse. It also created the level of laughter where you can't stop and the muscles in your face can't be controlled. I took the first shock of the group because I was laughing so hard when the music started and the reaction everyone had to it. I have dog collars that shock and those sting and linger on your skin. This does not do that in any way. It was a quick zap that did not hurt and was over with no lingering. (However, with that said, the drama queens and kings of your family may feel different. Even though mine would admit there was no lingering sting or even pain, they were too drama not to exploit it.)

I bought this as a white elephant gift and right away we used it. It was a bit complicated to figure out how to use it but then it gets easy, any ways its HILARIOUS!! We played it and we couldn't stop laughing. My brother who got the gift said he is going to take this to all his social gatherings to play. The durability of the item doesn't look so good but i just started using it!

I found this on a Lightning Deal and got it as a gag game for my adult children. Wow! It was the entertainment of the evening. So silly, because you literally are laughing over getting shocked, but it was hilarious. They loved it so much, that two of them ended up purchasing one for themselves to enjoy at game night with their friends. By far the best family gift this year.

Old game we used to have. I found this and immediately bought it. We used to have this game when I was younger. I would say the only down fall is it is all plastic and the cords would be nice a little longer but all in all fun game to have.

We had purchased a Lightening Shock Reaction 'Revenge' game about two years ago. This previous version gave you options for playing. 'Reloaded' only has one play mode. For instance(the 1st one we bought), each person could secretly choose, by a switch beneath their handle on the base, to decide which of the other 3 opponents would get zapped if they won(this is where revenge comes in!!!). Other play modes were, all three but the fastest gets shocked or slowest gets shocked. When I purchased it this time, I assumed all Lightening Shock games were the same. My bad. With the 'Reloaded'game, slowest gets shocked and you can turn up the 'juice'. I thought I was buying the original version so I was a little disappointed with the 'Reloaded' game. It gets a little boring after a while---unless of course you are drinking. It's good for a giggle and it is HILARIOUS to watch 1st timers. I have searched the web, however not terribly hard, looking for the original version we purchased. I haven't been able to find it. What I found is that you can buy each of the latter play modes I described above...quickest on the draw or slowest. But they are two separate games!!! To the makers of this game---BRING THE OLD ONE BACK!!!! 'Reloaded' is not as much fun. The ratings above may have been better if I had never played the 1st game version. As far as educational value, I guess if you want to teach you kids a lesson...(just kidding). Most likely they are quicker on the draw than you and you would be the one getting 'schooled'. And lastly, durability---YOU better be durable to play this game!! have fun!

The shock on this toy is so strong that it isn't even fun. Such a cool idea but we were disappointed. Our high schoolers lost interest after one round. Others seem to like it in the reviews, but it wasn't for us. Returned within a week.

Pretty expensive for what you get. Everyone gets tired of it after about 5 minutes. Music is annoying. I'd rather just get shocked than listen it for more than 5 seconds.

Best game for events-or interviewing new life partners-OR birthday parties for you 89 year old grandmother who refuses to embrace her long time lover, Satan, and you just want to give her that little extra push. If you have anxiety and want your friends to understand how you feel when you are invited to parties when you know you would much rather be at home picking lint out of your belly button and eating cheese puffs; this is the game you want. If you hate the people you call friends and want them to leave you the hell alone-this is the game you want. Want to leave a good impression on the future in-laws-what says I love you more than an electrical sock! Own a electrical company and have rather boring staff parties? Why not spice it up a bit with a battle of will, strength and courage! Also-best shipping ever, no damages or anything; and arrived on time.
