Would like to try the new electronic version when I can, but this one works very well. Had a Cardiologist II and III before this, and the IV is better. I used to work in the field in the pre-hospital environment and sounds are difficult for me in the back of a noisy ambulance, but I could use this to check for correct tube placement, or tension pneumothorax easily. Now I work in a hospital ED and this Stethoscope is great for lung sounds and even heart tones with my old ears.

Great quality scope, hearing quality is great. Keep out of the cold as with any stethoscope. Easy to wipe clean and keep sanitary. I bought it as a graduation gift and a year later in great shape!
