Throne of glass (throne of glass book 1) Paperback – February 2, 2023

I have the full series in the paperback of the new covers, so I HAD to have this edition! It’s an incredibly elegant book, and is perfect for any fans who want to up their bookshelf game. It looks amazing displayed on a bookshelf, and would be a great conversation starter! I originally bought The Assassin’s Blade, as I really liked Sam. I had no intentions of even reading the rest of the series, but halfway through Assassin’s Blade I went and bought Throne of Glass. That very weekend, I went to Barnes & Noble to buy the remaining books! I only made it halfway through the prequel novellas, before realizing how much I loved it and really wanted to read the rest. So, once I discovered this beautifully crafted collectors edition, I had to have it! I originally planned to buy it online at Barnes & Noble to pickup in store, but found that Amazon had it for way cheaper! It was $37 at B&N before tax, then factor in my gas to go to the store and my gas back, it would’ve been closer to $50. So I snatched it up with a quickness on here, I couldn’t complain for $26 even if shipping was around $6. This book shipped on Saturday March 2nd, and arrived to me less than 24hrs later on Sunday March 3rd! So honestly, for the cost of shipping, how quickly it arrived and me not having to get out and pick it up myself from the store, I’m freaking happy! I really appreciate the absolute speedy delivery, the overall price, and the sale. This is the first time I’ve EVER bought a collectors edition of a book, and I’m so grateful it was Throne of Glass. I couldn’t be happier, thank you Amazon and thank you to the seller! Your shipping speed was incredibly appreciated. Here’s to hoping they make the remaining books of this series, into the same collectors editions!

I love this book. I love this book I LOVE THIS BOOK. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect beginning to this story for our trio: the assassin, the Crown Prince, and the Captain of the Guard. watching them slowly drawn together, weaving attachments, wanting to trust.. all of it had my heart aching.Celaena is a force from the moment we meet her. it doesn’t matter if she’s dirty, starved, and locked in chains — a slave, living out a life long prison sentence — she’s sharp and unyielding. she refuses to let anything break her spirit, and I love her strength and humor. it only grows as she’s faced with the chaos of the competition. despite being the most notorious assassin to ever live, she has integrity and respect for humanity that make her lovable not only to readers, but to the two handsome men who can’t help but circle her (and not just because they’re counting on her to win lol). to be frank, she’s the definition of girl boss & I support every sassy comment that leaves her mouth!Chaol & Dorian are equally as nuanced and charming, in their own ways. Chaol, our Captain, is noble and adorably naive. his duty to the king & his kingdom are his priority, but he can’t seem to help the curiosity he feels towards her. and his best friend, Crown Prince Dorian? he’s ALMOST exactly what you’d expect of a pretty boy prince, cocky and slightly entitled, but underneath is a deep well of compassion that he can’t help but extend to Celaena. I’m not usually a love triangle girl but oh my goodness. I couldn’t stop squealing every other minute other these two.things are just getting started for the gang & I’m so excited to see them dive deeper into the goings on of the loss of magic in the realm & the ominous atmosphere surrounding the king.

First off I am surprised I decided to read this book. Fantasy type books are not my usual genre but I’m trying to get out of my comfort zone. If this book is any indication of how the rest of this author’s books are, I know I won’t be disappointed. Sarah J Maas knows how to keep the reader on the edge of their seat, especially at the final dual. Then Celaena had two men vying for. I found myself rooting for Chaol. There was something intriguing about him.Thank you Sarah for writing such a fantastic book. You have made me come out of my comfort zone. I’d give this book 10 stars but 5 will have to suffice.

Essa edição é primorosa, toda trabalhada, veio super bem embalada, toda perfeitinha. Já tinha lido o livro no Kindle, mas quando vi essa edição tive que comprar. O trabalho dela é maravilhoso, até as páginas do miolo tem detalhes. Vale cada centavo.
