31 lbs Heavy Duty Patio Market Umbrella Base Stand

I was very anxious to get my LED umbrella in the stand and put it by my fire pit furniture. It was installed correctly and seemed very sturdy. A month later, I came home to find my umbrella on the ground! The stand snapped somehow and even broke my umbrella!! Very frustrated.

Feels like a great base stand, however came cracked at the center. Too heavy to try to return only to get another heavy item. Using this with the Blissun umbrella! Disappointed that it came damaged, though.

Bought my very first patio umbrella. I don't know anything about umbrellas or the base they need to stand upon, so I relied on positive Amazon reviews to make my choice. This particular base from Blissun had a wealth of positive feedback... ...and no wonder! The base was an absolute breeze to put together with each piece properly marked in the instruction manual. I had it screwed together in about five minutes. No problems whatsoever. At 22lbs. this base has substantial weight to it. With my 9' umbrella in place, it was not easy to tip it over. I feel very confident that my umbrella is safe in a closed position, during heavy windy storms, while sitting in this base. Additionally, it has a very nice design which you can clearly see in one of my included photos. One last thing... To ensure that this base fits different sized poles, there is a removable piston that sits atop the mounting bar. I had to remove the piston to fit my particular umbrella. At first, I wasn't certain I should be doing this as the piston actually looks as if it protects water from getting inside. However, I have been assured by other customers that removing this piece is fine -- especially if it means properly fitting your umbrella into it. I can confidently recommend this base. I am very happy with this purchase.

This base topples over easily. I don't live in an area where windy conditions are above 10 mph. In the few times that it got up to 10-15 mph, this base easily topples over, even with the umbrella closed. I had ordered it to be used with their 9 foot umbrella. Not a good value for your money when you have to constantly check that your umbrella should be upright or does not fly off.
