I bought these dishes to make one of my favourite tapas, Gambas al Ajillo, and they’re the perfect size for single servings. Made traditionally in clay bowls for flavour and heat distribution. Well made and look great. 100% recommend.

These are very well-made clay pots - more like flat ramekins. I intend to use them to say yogurts. A decade and a half ago, someone had got a similar (or, I can say - better, as they've lasted me so long) set. Those were from India. They are not glazed from inside and that makes sense insofar as yogurt-setting is concerned (a porous material is more conducive to the process).Other than the fact that I wished these weren't glazed inside (but then these weren't explicitly made and marketed for setting yogurt!), I think these clay pots are really nice - they have a great finish, and it is claimed that the material is food-safe.Very nice pots. They say these are dishwasher safe - and typically I'm not a fan of handwashing dishes, but insofar as pots and dishes such as these go, I'd rather handwash than put them in the dishwasher.

I live off-grid, which means I have only a camp stove and a wood stove to cook on. Because of this, certain foods have been something I've had to give up, but with these clay ramekins I can cook SO MANY THINGS! TV dinners, pot pies, baked apples, shepard's pie...Seriously, these are one of the best things I've ever gotten on Amazon, no longer is my diet so restricted by cookware!Glazed interior makes it easy to clean as well :)
