installed the CP Plus dashcam in my Altroz. It works really well and records everything clearly. Very good camera. Video quality is clear in day and night. I feel safe while driving now. Easy to use and fits nicely in the car. Good product at a good price

Very bad product i have received dash cam it was not working first time so I have replaced the item again received defeated and after 15 days also I have not received any refund im Very disappointed with amazon....

Video Quality : Average, Number plates are readable in well lit conditions, In Night footages are usable, but not great in quality, justifiable for the price though Charger and Cables : Sub par quality adapter, does not properly fits in the socket, sometimes comes out of it , You might have to invest in a good quality charger. Cable is long enough to fit as the front cam, i bought it as my rear cam, length was nit enough, so i powered it from rear seat socket App and Controls : Connects to the app easily, video downloads are slow, overall it does the job but need some improvements

It is usable for general recording and basic proof in case of an incident, but reliability and video clarity are not strong points at this price. Video quality and usability Daytime video quality is average: good enough to understand what happened on the road and use as supporting proof or for an insurance claim, but not consistently clear enough to read number plates of moving vehicles. Low-light and night performance is quite poor, with significant loss of detail, so you should not rely on it for clear night-time evidence. Storage and file reliability The biggest drawback is that a noticeable portion of the recorded clips get corrupted even when using memory cards that match the recommended specifications. In a batch of around 750–760 clips, roughly 20–30 files may become unusable, which is a serious concern for a safety device. The camera sometimes interrupts recording and randomly asks to format the memory card while in use, which both affects continuous recording and increases the risk of losing important footage. App experience The mobile app experience is weak: it typically forces you to log in using mobile internet rather than working smoothly over local Wi‑Fi alone. During playback of recordings from the app, ongoing recording may stop, which again affects reliability in real-world use. Capacity and value for money A 128 GB card can cover roughly a full day of recording, which is convenient for daily commuting or long drives. For around ₹2,000, the product is acceptable if you only need a basic, low-cost dashcam and are not very particular about video clarity or 100% dependable recordings. Overall verdict This dashcam is suitable as an entry-level option for users on a tight budget who just want some basic footage rather than high-quality or fully reliable evidence. However, the frequent file corruption, random format prompts, poor low‑light performance, and underwhelming app make it hard to recommend for anyone who prioritizes reliability and clear evidence in all conditions.

Worth the money Crystal clear recording Recorded files are easily accessible After very first installation insert memory card and press power button 3 times. Then only it will start recording. Buy the card along with the camera. Absolutely worth it.

Hardware and software are both extremely buggy. E.g: after inserting SD card, dashcam says to format it. But app claims "no SD card detected" - this despite using their own brand CP Plus SD card. Sometimes the device says powering on (or something similar) at other times, it is silent. Tried formatting SD via computer but that too did not work. Product hardware seems okay but app is buggy and does not work rendering the unit useless (without the app, the SD card cannot be formatted and unless it is formatted, the unit refuses to use it).
