Perfect for home use.
I got a pair of these speakers about 6 weeks ago. Excellent sound and excellent quality. Battery life as expected/ stated by manufacturer. Without the light show the speaker can go without charge forever. Light show is also excellent and we use it sometimes when kids are dancing to the music or we sit on a patio. Light show is customizable so you can set it to create atmosphere - not just the disco environment. These speakers are perfect for home use. I tried out the max volume and even with a single speaker and 12 people in your living room it is too much, so you would go down on volume after one or two songs. The speaker is light enough for mu wife or my daughter to carry up the stairs. I compared these speakers with the pair of 320s as I wanted to see if the bigger speakers will be better for listening at low volume. The difference in how the larger speakers fill the room with sound at low volume is noticeable but barely. Not enough to justify the additional heft that they come with. 120s also sound more detailed (you can hear more instruments and nuances) when listening to classic music or modern chill. Overall I applaud JBL for naming their products. 120s are for the club and 320s are for the stage. And that's how you are supposed to buy them and use them. 320s are louder and better for outside but this is how things look like in average British neighbourhood of new build homes: Yor neighbours call the police at 75% of volume for 120s 60% of volume for 320s. The quality is beyond excellent. Everything is supper snug and the handle is well sprung so nothing shakes or vibrates when music is playing. 120s, after deactivating the bass boost, are completely on par with your mid range audiophile set and way beyond anything like sound bar plus satellite speakers for a typical TV setup (even if that setup is three times the price of your 120s). Bluetooth pairing is quick and easy. Have JBL partybox app installed when starting your speaker for the first time and especially when starting a set of speakers to play in stereo. Speakers would play a sound indicating looking for Bluetooth source, then another sound when paired and then after about 5 seconds to indicate that they found each other to play in stereo. After all devices in your house are connected to the speaker it will be kind of a lottery which speaker will connect to who's phone. Yes there are rules for that but good luck remembering who's phone, laptop or projector was last connecting in the family of four. Typical Bluetooth fun that we have when going for a family trip and everones Bluetooth is active when the car media centre starts. After the pair of speakers are connected to form a stereo group you touch only one speaker to change volume, light show and power down both of the speakers. Few people can connect to the speaker at the same time and then speaker will play the music from the phone that started playing a piece most recently. A nice feature for parties but kids can interrupt each others songs so you know... use responsibly. You can connect more than two speakers by pressing the middle button on the bottom of the screen in the app. I connected 120s and 320s to play together but when you do that they will no longer play stereo - they will play in sync like the speakers that are ceiling mounted throughout multiple spaces. I understand and like it - it would be too much fuss to set up a nice sounding environment and it would be easily destroyed after someone moved one speaker. Not something that you want to do with portable speakers. I couldn't recommend the JBL's Club 120 enough. The price is right.

Powerful Sound and Great Features for Any Party
The JBL PartyBox Club 120 is an excellent speaker for anyone looking to take their party to the next level. With a 120W output, it delivers impressive sound with deep bass and clear highs, ensuring it can easily fill any room or outdoor space. The built-in light show adds a fun and dynamic visual experience that syncs with your music, creating the perfect atmosphere for parties, gatherings, or events. The speaker connects easily via Bluetooth, and for non-Bluetooth devices, you can use the 3.5mm auxiliary input, which gives you flexibility in your audio setup. The Bluetooth connection works seamlessly, and the overall sound quality remains crisp and powerful. The design is sturdy and portable, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. Whether you're hosting a party, a barbecue, or just enjoying music with friends, the JBL PartyBox Club 120 offers excellent performance and great value, making it a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enhance their party atmosphere.

Awesome speaker
This speaker packs a real punch, dont be mislead by its name Partybox 120 this speaker is 160 watts rms which means it can and will pump out 160 watts continually with no issues. I was on the fence about paying a lot of money for a speaker, i was back and too, should I, shouldn't I. I finally bit the bullet when it was on sale and I am so glad I did. Absolutely brilliant speaker, the sound is amazing, the bass is deep and clear. I have the speaker volume at about quarter to half volume and my neighbors start complaining lol I bought a stand for it to go on, as you can pop the flap on bottom off and mount on a stand, now that makes a massive difference. The sound is even better on a stand. I highly recommend the partybox 120, if you live in a flat like me or a Terraced house this speaker is more than enough to vibrate the walls and windows to a point the neighbors start complaining. Sounds great outside for parties etc.. I cant wait to buy another one so i can get the full stereo sound when you pair two of these little beasts together. To sum up, the party box 120 is a loud, punchy speaker with deep bass and clear sounds. If your thinking of getting one, just do it. You wont regret it. The light show is great, the app is easy to use. This may be listed as the smaller of the partybox family dont be fooled, the speaker is quite big and chunky, Its about knee high from the floor maybe a little taller. Great speaker, easy to use and set up.. I love it, my neighbors dont lol

Awesome speakers. Just awesome.
I am extremely happy with these speakers. The sound quality is so clean and precise I am blown away. The base and clarity of voice and instrument detail is simply awesome. In a room 3mx4m I can't really turn them up more than 30% before my ears start to hurt. They are powerful enough to fill a room 10mx20m with sound. At 70% volume the neighbors would be calling the police. I bought these mainly for my home office/studio but also for parties in much larger rooms and outdoors. The sound with a Bluetooth device is superb and 2 of these connect together wirelessly as a brilliant stereo pair. One thing to note is the use of a mic or guitar. If connected as a stereo pair the mic/instrument will only come out of the speaker it is connected to. To have the mic sound coming from both speakers to need to use the wired daisy-chain connections and have a wire between the speakers. In this scenario both speakers must be mono, not a stereo pair. Because of this I purchased a small mixing desk with built-in echo so the music could be stereo while the mic is in mono via the mixing desk. A perfect solution. The sound quality and lighting effects really do make these great party speakers. Well done JBL!!! I'm blown away!

'tis a cheeky iccle beast 😆
Definitely a Sony to JBL convert. The perfect size to carry between the house and garden. Punchy enough while keeping the vocals clear regardless of volume and the light displays are soothing. I had wondered if I'd have been wiser to opt for the 720 or Ultimate as I tend to end up running close to full volume but this is plenty enough. Although it'd be rude not to get the 320 for syncing up. 😁 The app works well too making it easy to personalise the various light patterns or groups as well as switching the settings back when the toddler turns it up as soon as the room is adult free. 🤦♀️ Oh and those lights are bright, haven't used the bedroom ceiling light since. Unfortunately the mobile doesn't do the bass any justice on the video at all.....
