As a fan of EnerGel pens, I’m glad I stumbled upon this Kuro line. In true EnerGel fashion, the pens effortlessly glide across the paper. They feel even more luxe with “fancy” paper. The colors are subtle yet bold, the quality ink flows without skips, and the body of the pen fits my hand perfectly. I’ll definitely check out the other Kuro color groups. Love this pen smooth glide, no smear gel ink, also super easy to disinfect given smooth sides. Not much of a gripper but feels good in hand. This style is variable shades of black which are unique. I write a lot at work and this pen lasts almost a month. Worth the price

Absolutely love the colors! Perfect for writing in a planner or notebook with black print because the slight color difference stands out against pure black. My only complaint is that the plastic pen bodies are not very durable; the pocket/ collar clip breaks off with the slightest strain (I've broken them in my t-shirt collar and when trying to put it in the binder of my planner - very little use or stretch, which is very disappointing.) I like the colors enough that I'm going to try buying an EnerGel metal bodied pen and hope these inserts will fit in them. But it sucks that I'll either need to buy 5 more pens (and waste or hoard the black ink which will likely dry out by the time I'd potentially want to use them 🤣) or switch the color insert every time I want to switch colors. Love the colors, wish they came in a more durable pen body.

Excellent quality pen with Wonderful black colors.

It was a little hard to see the difference in colors, the only that really stood out is the crimson. They write beautifully, but I wouldn't expect less from Pentel; they are one of my favorite brands of pens. Need a pretty bright light to see the colors, though I wouldn't call the purple one Bordeaux since that just brings thoughts of wine, maybe eggplant or well Aubergine, yeah that's a better word. Shades of black is a perfect name for this line though. Charcoal did not disappoint, it's a lighter shade of the black. Olive is a beautiful shade. MIght have to get the other colors now. Like I need more pens.

Good pens, my work told me I couldn’t use my usual brown pens anymore and I could only use black. So I got these because they’re shades of black, a good work around. I do recommend keeping them upright when not using I have had a little leakage but nothing serious.
