When I first tried some goji berries I thought they were an acquired taste. But now I crave the delicious flavor which to me is like a more aromatic raisin. These are dried but not so dry as to make them difficult to chew. I don't eat a lot at once, maybe ten or so at a time. If you eat one ounce it is only 100 calories, 0g fat, 3g of fiber, 21g carbohydrates and no added sugar. These make a good snack but also can be put on oatmeal instead of sugar in the morning. Natural, organic certified, and all that good stuff. Good flavor is there, BUT these goji berries are really hard. I stirred them into a wet smoothie bowl and waited, since they were so hard, hoping the moisture would help. Unfortunately, they were still very hard. I have a couple of crowns in my mouth and was concerned about them and my other teeth. There is another dried goji berry that Amazon sells that’s somewhat hard, but has chew in the center, “Viva naturals” brand. I’m still searching for ones that are more of a raisin texture, if that is out there.
