I got this connected without any issues and its been working well for me, keeping my connected

Garbage
Complete garbage! Does not connect to rainpoint app, where I have 3 outlet hubs and 3 irrigation controls connected. Tried updating app, but seems you have to download a second Rainpoint app, that then does not work.. no wonder it has 2 star rating in app store.

know what you are buying
This will be useful if you have the supported RainPoint smart tools. I have several RainPoint products, and this came in handy to connect all of them to wifi. Make sure you install this to a location not very far from your garden that you use the RainPoint products.
