The coloring on this cover is unique and rich. The band is cool. No shaping was needed. I took the advice of other customers and the seller and ordered a size larger (7 1/2 versus 7 3/8) and it fits great. I'm not an expert on materials but I researched the manufacturer and Resistol was one of the top manufactures listed in several comparisons. Been around for100 years and the brand is "ubiquitous" in Texas. That's good enough for a dude from Seattle!

So I knew this hat runs small. My husband has a Resistol hat size 7 1/8, so I ordered a 7 1/4. It was still small. After measuring the perimeter of the hat we determined that there size 7 1/4 is really a size 7. We are returning this hat and ordering a 7 3/8. Hopefully it will fit.

Seller didn’t disclose shipping cost. I had to go down to the post office and pay for shipping before I could get it. Hat is fine, although size runs small.

Best hat our son has ever owned. He wears it every day - and we live in the Northeast!!
