Not even close to fitting a Samsung SSD
Seems well built overall - but the sleeve where the SSD drops in is a much wider opening than the thickness of the Samsung drive (T5). Torquing the Allen all the way down (inside the knob) of the clamp, only pinches the drive in at the edges and not along the wide surfaces of the drive. Maybe a band of rubber around the drive would make for a better fit, but for the cost I expected better.

Feels rugged hopefully to try it out soon
Idk what the comments say but I like it feels rugged but heavy wouldn’t mind about it as long it last but trying it out feels secure like the wireless charging haven’t it so once I try it I’ll give a 5 ⭐️

High end prodcut!
This is an extraordinary piece of gear for anyone filming with their iPhone, it just delivers what it promises, charging, adding an external SSD, and all in one compact, extremely well-built metallic frame.my T7 needed a bit of adjustment here and there, but once installed it just worked wonders. and it also looks super cool!.It is now part of my regular gear for filming and can't be more happy with it.

I wish I would have listened to the other reviews
I wish I had listened to the other reviews. This does NOT fit a T7 SD drive. Even after tightening the screw to the max, it didn't secure it at all, the drive could easily fall out. Please stop advertising that this unit is made specifically to fit a T5 or T7 drive, it's definitely not. Also, something nobody has mentioned is that the MagSafe connection isn't strong enough to hold even a light T7 SD drive without it drooping. So it doesn't stay horizontal, the drive dips on one side under it's own weight. I really wanted this unit to work, oh well.

Muy pesado
El producto está bien pensado para cargar el IPhone y grabar directamente al disco duro externo al mismo tiempo pero creo que es muy pesado y no muy cómodo

Not for T5 or T7, made for a T3
This is an exciting device. It does indeed connect to the phone's MagSafe very well, and it does provide ample charging wirelessly through the USB-C cable. However, the major disadvantage is that it is unsuitable for a T5 or a T7 Samsung Drive. However, when I put in my T3, it fits like a glove because it is a metal holder. The side that goes in from the Samsung is also metal; it will scratch the Samsung on the way in and out as you remove it and put it in. Other than that, it fits perfectly on the T3, and the cord is appropriate for the drive size and plugging into the device itself. I tested it with a 15 Pro Max. iPhone, the screw to adjust it is obscured whenever you put the cord in, so you have to make all the adjustments before you plug it in, and the screw to hold the cord down is a little odd because it doesn't seem to do anything when it's fully tight it's still loose. When it's entirely loose it's also very loose so it doesn't do anything other than that. It's an excellent addition if you have T3 drives and want to plug it into your iPhone to record high-quality video without using the onboard storage.

Interesting multi-purpose SSD bracket/charger for your iPhone
This is an interesting bracket/charger for iPhones and Samsung T5 and similar drives. I have tried this and a NVMe 2230 bracket/mount that's similar. This one is definitely bulkier since you're hanging an external USB drive off the phone. However, it provides independent wireless charging through the magnetic mount, so you can charge separately from the data path to your phone.I will probably put a layer of tape or a custom skin on my T5 1TB drive to avoid the risk of scratches--I hadn't really thought about skins for external drives until now. But given that most of my T3 and T5 drives are pretty old and not intended to be museum pieces, it might be overkill.I do feel the price on this accessory is a bit steep at $100. If you're doing professional work with your phone it could certainly be justified, but for casual use I'd be considering something else.
