Amazing the closest electric razor I’ve ever used. My old one left me with hair stubble still and I would have to shave my head after. I got the groomie today and it was amazing. I haven’t trimmed my head all week and this took it on with no problem at all. Not quite as close as doing it with my razor but very close to it. The closest anything else has ever come with out nicks and cuts. This thing is amazing love it. Has a great fit in my hand. It looks sleek and durable. I’ve only had it one day so far but definitely worth the price. I watched video and was skeptical but sold after my first use. See my before and after pictures. I remembered my old shaver said for a closer shave use in the shower so today day 2 I used the Groomie in the shower and this felt like I just took a razor to my head. I am going to try the pre shave oil once I get it. I love this shaver.

This is an amazing product - it's the closest that I've found to a razor shave. Easy to use, no mess so I'm able to shave while dressed without hair clipping. I'm not sure about how to use the attachments so I haven't really bothered with them - it works fine for me just as-is. (I have used the nose hair remover - seems to work ok). They try to sell pre-shave oil, after-shave, etc. I found that I don't need them, but others might. I purchased the charging base which really wasn't necessary. The cord can plug directly into the shaver or into the base - there's no advantage to using the base that I can see. Same with the carrying case - it's fairly large and stiff. It would be easier to just put the attachments in a plastic bag. Their support, although helpful, is not overly intuitive. The first one I purchased worked great until it stopped. I learned that to get support, I had to submit the request via Amazon since that's where I purchased it. (I had wasted time emailing their support address). Once I went through Amazon, they issued a replacement promptly and without question. I asked several times if the problem is unusual or if it's something they could fix, but never got a clear answer. (There's no support phone number to call, only email, so I'm guessing the responses are all robotic). Again, once I went through the Amazon, replacement was no issue at all. Overall, I'm happy enough with this product to give it 5 stars - I really missed it while I was waiting for the replacement!

I got this because i want to keep my head shaved. Was told this is a better budget head shaver. Using it, I agree it works great but only if you move it slowly. It does not work well if you have lumps on your head or the back of head skin Wrinkles. also, if you move the shaver to fast it will not shave properly. To compensate for the limitations, using one hand and tilting your head will eventually giver the desired results. I will also go in slow circular motions in both clockwise then counterclockwise. when you have completed the shave and you move your hand over your head it will be mostly smooth. When you are don't you may have from 19% to 32% battery left. The recharge is quick though. only issue i have other than what is mentioned here is the hair on my head grows fast. meaning i can had a perfectly smooth head in the morning, but when i get home i feel like i have not shaved it for 2 days. I have to use the shaver 2 times a day to maintain my lex Luther Bald head. It feels really good too. And i do not mind using it 2 times a day. you can use it also for a normal facial shave too. I tried it. the upper lip by my nose tends to pull a bit. but it works just as well. The cleaning is super easy as it has a magnetic disconnect unlike my friends where you have to detach each part one at a time. then reassemble it. tested with water, and it is water resistant. but I do not recommend using it while taking a shower.as Only head razer area is water resistant. the other areas do not look to be water or moisture resistant.

This shaver works as advertised. I usually shave down the growth using my zero-gapped trimmer, then shave using a razor. I purposely let my stubble grow out a little to test this and it worked great. No shaver gets as close as a razor, but this one is very close. It's also very easy to clean, the blades are attached magnetically, so you can just pull them off and rinse out the cuttings. The charge holds up well. I liked this shaver enough to get one for my nephew as a gift. Update: came back to say if I could give this shaver 6 stars I would. Still doing an excellent job even with a week's growth on my head.

Husband: The included trimmer lasted 6 beard trims then stopped working. . . The shaver itself is nice, but the hinges that you open to clean it are now flopping around when open, unlike when they were new. I have not used this as often and another shaver I have and I just purchased a Wahl trimmer which is way better at trimming a beard. I had a Wahl hair trimmer that lasted with me and my 3 boys {now Men} for 30 years. Yea 30! So I am trying their beard/head trimmer because of those 30 years. . . With this product I just don't feel it has very good quality and it feels like they want it to fail, so you will use the enclosed order form to buy new shaver heads and trimmer heads. . . And where do they put all that plastic waste? In our land fills or oceans, so they can make more money from us. . . I don't think they have our wallets, or our planet in mind. Which concerns me for my children and grand children. Sorry for the length of this review. Thanks for reading. . .

I am elated with this purchase! My boyfriend shaves his head with regular clippers and for some reason I am clipper inept. I don’t like the way they feel in my hand. We ordered this in hopes of me being able to shave his head for him minus the awkward hold. I was initially skeptical given the somewhat gimmicky advertising, however the shave is incredibly close! The shaver is quiet and easy to use, small enough to fit nicely in my hand and according to my boyfriend give a closer shave than he’s gotten at barber shops! Great value and so quick and easy to use and clean!

Overall, a great shaver. It fits comfortably in my hand, and it is one of the quietest head shavers I have tried. Others I have tried are much louder. My favorite feature is the 1-click blade removal. The previous blades I had (not the pro ones) were a lot smaller and much more difficult to clean. These are held magnetically, and they come off and snap back on easily. That makes cleaning the shaver extremely easy. I love it! Best blade design out there! Now for the negative... The battery life isn't as great as other shavers I have used. After a few months, I noticed the battery life was reducing. I now find myself having to charge the shaver more frequently than I would like, and there have been times when I run out of battery because I forgot to charge it before shaving. This is by far the biggest drawback. So if you buy this one, make sure you pay attention to the battery life and charge it when needed. If it wasn't for that one flaw, I would give this shaver 5 stars. It is a great design, and it has the best blades I have used. SUPER easy to clean and also nice and quiet. Not perfect, but pretty close. I would recommend this shaver.
