As a Marine Corps Veteran, these would have saved me thousands!
I served 14 years in the marine corps. After my first two years getting haircuts every week to Marine Corps standards I decided to do the bald look and push for every other week. After 5 years in I started trying my own balls cuts to save money. So I bough and is trimmers. They were okay, so I bought high end wall trimmer. It was good. But never gave me the barber shop bald cut. So over the years I bought gimmick balding razors. Blades irritated my skin, trimmers never got close enough. I finally bought song BabyLiss pro trimmers. They were really good. Iām not a professional, so I had to get the blades zeroed, to cut close enough. Pricey, but really good. They served me well the last three years. Motor died on me. And I was looking to buy another set. But, as a civilian now, with some new friends in the civilian sector, I was shown a TPOB YouTube video by a co worker who cuts hair as his side hustle. He has the tpob goblin set, but told me the X, would be a game changer for me. Well, I ordered, I received it and out of the box, this trimmer with the psycho blade is insane! Iāve NEVER had a cut this close, without irritation to my scalp. The crunch of this blade eating through hair is both satisfying and lets you know once youāve eaten up all the hair youāre targeting. The fact this trimmer cost almost 50% less then my babyliss trimmers were, is hard to believe. TPOB, is a real one! Quality Professional gear, at novice price points. My wife really liking the smooth bald cut. And the sharp lines on the beard. Wow! This is a must buy!!

Great Trimmer
Had this for about 3 years. Haven't had any issues. Probably looking at replacing the head with a new one in the next year. I use it 2x weekly (every week for last 3 years) as a beard trimmer, neck shaver, and to cut around my ears. Has lasted me. Would recommend picking up. (I got mine on Black Friday sale a few years back).

Detailed review
The actually clipper is very nice it has a nice ergonomic feel to it the lever is not too bad it clicks and I pretty sure it has a fade blade but my problem is with the guard they come off so easy and are not good which caused me to leave a patch in my clients head

Stopped charging and turning on after 1 year
This trimmer did an excellent job when it worked. I used it to do a "2nd pass" and was used very sparingly, barely charged it at all. A few days ago, I finished my usual trim with it and allowed the battery to run out completely. After that, I plugged it in to the charger but the blue led light wouldn't come on. So I thought, let it charge for a couple hours then look into it, at which point, it wouldn't turn on at all! I was devastated. I tried multiple chargers, as well as the included one to no avail. This makes zero sense. Always took care of the trimmer, and it was only used in short increments of a couple of minutes. I rarely had to charge it in the year that I had it because the battery life was so good. Since the warranty was still active, I contacted the seller, but I found their interaction to be unusual. They were evasive and contradictory. They asked me for a video demonstrating the failed trimmer so I supplied them with one. Then they tried to wiggle their way out of responsibility by saying that I was "using the wrong charger" even though I told them I tried more chargers, and that I was still within the 30 day replacement period, knowing full well I was just shy of 1 year of ownership. In the end, they did the right thing, but I believe that it was only because it was purchased from amazon and they wanted to maintain their relationship with them. Had I purchased directly from tpob's website, I strongly believe I would have been ignored. I really wanted warranty service or replaced with a new one but they didn't seem interested in doing that. I asked them if the same thing would happen again if I purchased a new one, but they stopped responding. I believe they are fully aware of the dead battery issue with the trimmer and that they design it this way on purpose. It's strange that they don't fix it, rather allow it to persist. This trimmer should be recalled.

Tons of power & excellent cutting performance
I have purchased many trimmers from the big brand stores only to try them out at home and be totally disappointed at their cutting performance. Finally after months of searching for a good quality trimmer I found the TPOB on Amazon and can honestly say I will not be purchasing any other brand trimmer again. I use the trimmer prior to shaving my head. I make a habit of cleaning it and oiling the blades after every use. I usually charge it every 2 weeks and after using it for a few months now I can honestly say the blades are as sharp as when I first received it. The body is made out of metal and feels very sturdy and comfortable in your hand. As previously mentioned I have used it for a few months now and have not needed to make any adjustments to the blades. It comes well packaged with a USB charging cable. Excellent value for the money. You can easily find less expensive trimmers but most of them are poorly built, low quality and the blades last only a few uses before they become dull. If you're considering purchasing a trimmer don't hesitate to purchase the TPOB...you won't regret it!

I'm $170 dollars down, and verve for this product heartbroken. This unit let me down once i turned it on. I noticed the power button/switch moving-not stable. It rattles while on. How i was sold by the hype and belief of this TPOB. Thinking great! i cant wait for this product to come & add to my fine trimmer collection! Turn on machine 1st time! Felt like the value of my money got cheapen and wasted to shredded wheat. My investment my energy my time for tpob was a sunk cost.

By the RPM on this machine, I thought it would be worth trying it. But as soon as I used it on my neck it started pulling and tugging my skin. I got It readjusted by a professional barber who also oiled it but it was the same problem. Spend a couple of more $ and get the Stylecraft boosted trimmer so much better.

These trimmers are mid tier, spend the extra $60 to purchase the sabers. The blade tends to catch certain types of hair on the neck and cheekā¦problematic for your clients. The Babyliss Skeleton would out perform these any day. Highly disappointed for the price point. Overall purchase these at your own risk. Not happy with these.
