I am very impressed with this insect trap. It was super easy to set up right out of the box, and the blue LED light turns on beautifully, attracting insects effectively. It works quietly, which is perfect for using it at night or in the kitchen without any annoying noise. I really like that it uses sticky glue boards instead of chemicals, making it safe for kids and pets. The design is modern and compact, so it blends well with home décor. Cleaning and replacing the glue board is also very simple. After using it for a short time, I already noticed a big reduction in flies and mosquitoes. This catches fruit flies perfectly. Usually I have fruit flies and nats, but ever since I bought this, the amount I've seen has decreased greatly. The trap fits perfectly in my home and kills the nats quickly, after a week the amount decreased by a TON. It's definitely worth your money. The only suggestion I have is to put some vinegar in a cap on the sticky trap, the smell of the vinegar won't really affect you depending on how much you put. It functions better with the vinegar, but if you prefer not to it still catches them, just a bit slower.

Works great and fast. I'm very impressed. In the 1st 3 or 4 hours of turning it on it already got a lot of bugs. Very easy to set up and use. Its Plastic but when its on it doesn't smell like Plastic. The light is kind of bright so I put a box around mine to so I can sleep without light pollution. Pretty easy to clean and it small enough to easily fit almost anywhere in the how. Ai like it alot.

I have a greenhouse or what some people may call a sunroom attached to my house front door. I grow lots of plants in this. I have an electric fly zapper in the room that wipes out most bugs. But some still make it inside my house. I purchased a "sticky fly" type of trap ages ago as some of these dang fungus gnats would find a way in my house. I put it in the bathroom and it caught a lot of these things. However, I was still seeing the pest issue in my TV room, computer room and the kitchen. I purchased a couple plug in things - not full-blown traps like this device. They had high ratings on Amazon so I tried some. They worked...but not great. I don't know how they received such high ratings. My big traps catch more. So, I bought 2 more legit large gnat traps. This one that I put in the kitchen outperformed the other one I put in my TV room. In the same amount of time it caught more gnats (and mosquitos which I didn't know I had) than the other new trap. I thought this product would only catch Sci-Fi gnats...thinking they were heading towards some kind of wormhole. But it did catch more than my "fancier" gnat catcher in the TV room. The fancier version shows humidity, temperature, has adjustable light brightness and fan speed and has manual versus automatic operation based on how bright the room is. It is super fancy - didn't catch as many gnats though. I also attached a picture of this trap next to my electrical outlet mounted trap. Not a single gnat has been caught in the small wall mount since I put this other trap next to it. This sci-fi wormhole trap has a timer too. 6 or 12 hour. I just leave it on because I see the gnats all the time. Update: Used the thing for a while. It's my favorite gnat trap out of all I have tried - and cheapest out of all of them besides the plug in traps which don't perform as well. How often does that happen? I always say you get what you pay for but the cheaper version here works better than the other 2 more expensive gnat traps I have. Main reason for my update is adding a 5th star - and really this is such a huge deal I'd say this is a 6 star product. Reason? After use these things collect dust and need to be cleaned. This IS A DREAM TO CLEAN! For my other versions (besides outlet plug in) I have to get out a bunch of Q-tips, some rubbing alcohol and spend a lot more time than I want cleaning out the dust build-up so air flow can stay high. This thing? I noticed dust build-up and just took a Swifter pad to it, the gaps in the suction area are large enough I could get even my XXXL (not joking) hands and fingers in and clear out the dust. Then I thought I have a Swifter dust mop thingy - used it and it worked even better! Literally took seconds to clear and clean dust. The other brands I tried take a lot of time and effort to clean up. This alone is going to drive me to replace my other gnat traps with this type because I dread having to clean the other traps.

A week in and our plant pests have nearly been eliminated! Our only complaint so far is that it is fairly loud. We moved it to our living room, since we have plants in there as well, and we noticed it right away. I have bought a smaller one, so hopefully it can go back to the original spot.

I have a houseplant jungle in my home and have been battling the annoying fungus gnats for years. The picture included is after a month of running it in a corner of my jungle. There's even more gnats than I thought I was dealing with!
