Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree - PlayStation 5

Partner loves this game, got it for their Christmas present. It’s February and the gameplay is still going strong! Game looks hard but not too hard. I watched him get killed a bunch and slowly not get killed as much. I don’t understand the items and recipes, they seem random and some of the potions I’m not sure what the point is. People like to write things on the floor and I always want to see what they say, but my partner says it’s mostly nonsense, some are but occasionally they warn you about a bad guy right by a door ready to bop your head.

Game arrived in perfect condition. Entertainment is subjective, so I’ll keep this short. This is my first “Souls-like” game. Interesting story and very cool world lore. The game is very grindy and every encounter feels challenging. Boss battles are ridiculously intense. After a several hours of playing, I usually have to put it down and play something else for a few days.

All of this for 40 bucks? Immaculate steal here. If you see this bundle again on sale - DON’T SLEEP! 10/10 gaming front to back

Killer game best of the best

I am not a constant "gamer". There are a few games that I just love! Role Playing games or "souls-like" games are more in my forte. This game hit ALL the things! Role playing-check. Difficult bosses-check. Fun Aventure-check. Amazing storyline- Check. DLC Included-Check. This is definitely a game where you will be soo frustrated that you have to walk away from it for a while. But the exhilaration you feel once you beat these hard bosses keeps you coming back for more. You will definitely die, and will get your ass kicked repeatedly. But once you get the right set-up and weapons/magic spells and you can finally beat that boss= EPIC! The ONLY reason it did not get 5 stars is because of the frustration of constantly dying. I mean I can understand dying a few times in a game, but this can be brutal and I just feel for those of us that are not as talented in playing games, this difficulty is very discouraging. But alas, it's not impossible. Anyone who likes roleplaying games, rich environment, beautiful scenery and graphics this checks all those things as well. This is top tier graphic design and prgraming and I can attest to the reason why it got such high ratings. Try it you won't regret it. Just keep one thing in mind.....DONT GIVE UP!!

It’s feels incomplete with the dlc. This dlc was the biggest one yet but it feels about as big as darksouls3 dlc weapons, spells and reward wise in a map far far bigger! Too big a map and too many bosses for the little amount of rewards and lore/secrets/mobs to go with it. There are more new bosses then there are new creatures in the world too fight makes the gameplay of travelling the lands not even half as good as base game limgrave and caelid! Rewards both in story lore and new items feel lackluster. The story also feels rushed and incomplete it feels like walking a ton of empty space filled with gimmick mobs like abyssal woods gimmick fire furnace gimmick finger ruins snakes gimmicky one shots unless you have enough sacadutree shards another gimmick many other gimmicks too return of many base game mobs with zero changes. my only gripe otherwise worth every cent! A few outright bad mobs and bosses but the majority of the bosses are fire and are the best fights out there. Music on point and gameplay. there is far more then 100 hours of content to delve into Elden ring. 100/100 base game 91/100 dlc I want to call it a masterpiece but I think only the base game is the dlc unfortunately comes in at a solid 9 become Elden lord and together we can devour the very gods!

Quiero hacer mencion a un problema reciente que tambien he mencioando en mis resenas anteriores sobre que los discos de PS5 que me han estado envaindo han estado llegando fuera del punto donde deberian estar anclados, de tal manera que estan sueltos dentro de la caja moviendose, lo cual hace que me preocupe en primera instancia por la durabilidad d elos juegos a largo plazo, pero, en fin, espero que deje de pasar pronto. En fin, el juego es una obra de arte. En lo personal me desagrada la participacion de George RR Martin y siento que dejo su imaginacion muy limitada ademas de usarla como limitante para las ideas tan extravagantes que suelen incluir los juegos de FromSoftware (pero eso cada quien ya que experimente el juego podra darse una idea personal subjetiva de ello). Por lo demas, la caja intacta. Empaquetada. Excelente logistica excepto por pues ya sabes, lo del disco. 5 estrellas still. `
