Everything they’ve advertised
Awesome. That’s why I’m back for more. But an observation…the dyed cotton gives to wear and tear at the seams sooner than the unbleached cotton. I’m in the habit of mixing colors.

Soft and warm
I have been searching for socks that are actually cotton (crazy how hard that is to find now) This was like all there used to be before cheap synthetics, now cotton is all fancy and Highfalutin. So far (had them for a couple days now) I like them, but I find them over priced. If the price was lower or they did better bundles, I’d stock on them for myself and a few others. The knitting is wider, so I can already see a couple snags after one day of use, they’re fuzzing and frayed a little already, not sure how they’ll do in the wash, oh the suspense!Personally I’ve always been a barefoot all day around the house kinda gal, but unfortunately after neuromas my foot doc said “ahhh wear your damn socks, please!” Sooo I started getting socks, I'm no expert so I was buying cheap big bundles so I could have them every day. Unfortunately the synthetics are just not great for skin and breathability, our lil feets endure so much for us!Deets: I’m a female, size 9 ish size feet (don’t judge! My mom said I’ll never fall down in a windstorm with big feet!) So size wise, these fit perfectly but I can definitely feel them easily move around and bunch up, so if you’re feet are any smaller they will probably slide and roll around more.Overall sure, I like them! Soft, breathable, no harsh dyes, chemicals or synthetics = happy paws. Perhaps not super long lasting, and spendy for only 3 pair but that may just be my opinion. I’ll update if there’s any exciting turn of events, and there’s only so many pics I can take of an off white sock, but hopefully these pics help a little!

My Favorite - Cotton Socks
Great COTTON socks!! I don’t like synthetic socks. Cotton is almost impossible to find. I’ve ordered these in all colors in the past. They are thick, wear well, wash well and the top holds its shape so far forever. I recommend them 100%.

Chemical smell that would not come out. Caused allergic reactions.
I did a lot of research prior to buying these socks. I have been having multiple chemical sensitivity issues which prompted me to seek out organic clothing brands and I found Maggie’s. I chose the natural color because at the time of purchase (January 2018) I was learning dyes are a serious issue and just because clothing is organic doesn’t mean it’s necessarily chemical free. I’ve learned this the hard way by having severe physical allergic reactions to organic clothing. Unfortunately with Maggie’s socks (and striped leggings) this was no different. As soon as I opened the package I knew there was an issue. When I smelled these organic “natural colored” socks there was a remarkable chemical stench. Being that I REALLY wanted these to work I soaked them overnight in baking soda and then washed them with 3 extra rinse cycles to try and remove the smell and allergic symptoms I was having from them. That didn’t worked. I then soaked them for a week in baking soda. I did another round of vinegar as that’s known to get chemical odors out, and that didn’t work either. The only thing that changed about their socks was the size. They shrunk to the point of where the ankle starts and the change in sock is is now at the bottom of my heel. I would take a photo but bc of the allergy I’m not going through that, sorry guys. I never washed them in hot water either. Only cold and luke warm. I hope this helps someone that may be going through some of the same difficulties I am in the search for adequate clothing.

Faded streak on tops and thick scratchy toe seams
I like the fact that these are cotton socks, and they don’t bind at the top, and I like the colors. But that’s for the love ends. These socks have a faded streak line up the top of the sock where they were folded. I can only guess that these have been sitting around in a warehouse for a long time and has faded on the folds over time? The next issue I have is the toe seam. It is thick, bunches up, and scratches the tops of my toes. The toe area is also quite confining, therefore uncomfortably squeezing the toes together as if they were compression socks. Toes need space to move around. Definitely not a comfy feel. Had to return them.
