Schiek Sports 2006 Nylon 6 Inches Weight Lifting Belt - Support Belt for Power Lifting

This belt is quality product. The fit was great and the workmanship is top notch, great value for the prices. Size runs true to fit. Of course Made in the USA which is difficult to find a non-leather belt that is made in the USA. Would recommend to anyone who is starting or serious about lifting .

This review comes after approximately 6 months of use, olympic lifting 3 times a week and occasional use during crossfit WOD’s. Overall the structural rigidity of the belt has held up very well. It feels just as supportive today as the first time I used it. The Velcro “stickiness” has also held up very well and I have never had the belt loosen (Velcro slip) under load. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that I have noticed some fraying of threads on the perimeter of the Velcro and also a small amount (apx 1 inch) of stitching that holds the velcro to the nylon belt has come undone. Considering I loosen and tighten the belt before/after every lift I consider this a small amount of visible wear. As to the fit of the belt I have a 36 inch waist (measured at the belly button), I have the medium sized belt and it fits great. The belt is very comfortable with the contour over the hips allowing for greater range of movement. This is of course great for olympic lifting but I have also found it useful during certain Crossfit workouts where, for example, we go from some type of lift (thrusters, or cleans) to something like burpees or rowing. Overall I’m very happy with this product and have recommended to others at my gym.

A belt that gives you support and security. No longer forced to use a stiff leather belt. After 60 bodybuilding years it took me this long to find a comfortable belt

I am a 32 to 36 waist depending on my bodyfat percentage. Size medium fits perfect for me and that size waist range. Plenty of adjustment, yet not too much "leftover" when I am at 32". VERY COMFORTABLE belt and gives great support on the abs without "biting or pinching" into the skin when tightened to desired fit. No getting shirt caught in the buckle or skin getting pinched by the buckle as you buckle up.

Works great

Great belt. I use it for my squats, deadlifts and military presses. It provides great support, while still being comfortable. I have some back issues and this belt has allowed me to return to the gym with piece of mind that I'm maintaining good form and so far I have not re-injured or stressed my back. I prefer this belt to the leather belts that I have tried.

I was looking for weight belt for a while. I tried many but after watching some videos and seeing how this belt worked I tried it. I have to say it has helped me with my back. The way it fits, and get's tight. like knowing that this belt won't give out when i'm doing heavy weight. The funny thing is that some times its so good on staying on it's hard to take off. Haven't really found the right way of taking it off quick... That's my mistake lol... Overall i have to say it's a good awesome belt.

Solid support almost 2 years old the Velcro is starting to look bad , still works possible get another 6 months out of them. I’d buy one again the 2006 has a 6 inch rear brace I like the feel of more support
