I bought this steam cleaner on sale and really had no real expectations that it would work. Still, nothing cleans household grime like steam and this baby makes lots of steam! It heats up quickly and keeps making steam until you run out of water. The reservoir holds a good amount of water so you can finish the job. The size is great for household use and it looks cool too. It works great in kitchens and bathrooms and will even clean up a greasy BBQ grill. Time will tell how durable it is but if it conks out, I'll get another.

I had high hopes for the 2500W Handheld Steam Cleaner, but it turned out to be a major letdown. First off, it doesn't even get hot. Instead of producing the powerful steam you would expect, it releases a cold mist, making it ineffective for proper cleaning tasks. Even worse, the handle heats up quickly, becoming uncomfortably hot to hold, yet the actual steam remains lukewarm at best. Another huge flaw is that there’s no trigger mechanism. As soon as you turn it on, the steam—or rather, the cold mist—starts spraying constantly. This makes it difficult to control and wasteful, especially when you're not ready or trying to move it between areas. Several other customers mentioned these issues in their reviews, but I figured it might be an isolated problem. Unfortunately, it’s not. This product grossly underperforms, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for an effective cleaning tool. Save your money and look elsewhere.

I like the separate long sprayer wand and the tank for the water. I can set the heated water tank on the floor or counter and move about with the sprayer. Others I've had required carrying everything while working on an area to clean. It heats up amazingly fast and the water in the tank lasts a long time. Very efficient and effective for the price. Yes, it would be nice to be able to shut it off at the sprayer but easy enough to shut it off quickly and turn on quickly at the tank too. I appreciate the no slip gloves that came with it for safety.
