These waist adjusters are such a clever solution for jeans, pants or a dress that are just a bit too loose at the waist. I’ve now used them on both my own jeans and a dress and they’ve worked well in both cases. I’ve bought the black and the white. What I like: • Easy to use ~ just clip them inside the waistband, and they stay secure without slipping or causing bulk under clothes. • Comfortable ~ I was surprised there’s no pinching or poking, and they’re truly discreet. I forgot I was wearing one after a few minutes. • Machine washable ~ I’ve washed jeans and the dress with the adjusters still clipped in and they held up perfectly. • Great value for a 6-pack ~ I’ve tightened multiple pairs of jeans and still have extras on hand. A few things to note: • These don’t completely replace tailoring ~ they’re great for a small adjustment (1–2 inches), but may not work as well for very loose waistbands. • It takes a minute to figure out exactly where to clip them for the most natural fit, but once you do, it’s easy. These work as they should but they have you put buttons on both sides. If one side comes off, you can lose your pants.

My son recently lost 70lbs and he only gets a yearly uniform allowance for work. Instead of paying $125/pair for new pants I was able to cinch them on the side. You can't see the elastic from the outside and it will definitely keep him going until he can replace his uniforms. TIP: One on either side of your waist looks better than just one in the back. Can't recommend these enough - everything you need in one package. Simple but ingenious.

I really like this kit, it comes with everything you need to make waist adjustments in jeans or other kind of trousers. I find it's better with thicker material but it depends how much you want to tighten. My daughter has a thin waist and it's always hard to find jeans that will fit without a belt and this has helped a lot and you can adjust the elastic in the back in case you are bloated or eat a little more :)

Loved this idea. Very difficult to tell size of buttons from pictures. Buttons are very, very, very SMALL. Could not use. Gave away. Perhaps a more realistic picture about the size of the buttons would help with selection. So sorry!
