Matched Up Correctly With OEM Kohler Valve Part But….drip, Drip, DRIP!
We were ever hopeful that in buying this inexpensive bath faucet valve that we would save ourselves a ton of money spent on both a genuine Kohler replacement valve and the plumber’s exorbitant fee to show up and switch it out. I’ve installed faucets myself so felt competent enough to take it on. My husband opted instead to do the job and he’s a Top-Notch Auto Mechanic who works on high end German cars so he is without a doubt, the guy for the job! Anyway, we researched this valve part to find what we thought to be a match for the Kohler part. But once it was together as it should be and after a thorough cleaning and descaling from years of use with heavily mineralized water, the faucet DRIPPED! Not only is that annoying but expensive in that we live in an area that charges a humongous service charge amount BEFORE a faucet is ever opened! Literally, they charge here for every cubic foot of water so we cannot afford a wasted drop along with the drip, Drip, DRIP! We were so hoping for an inexpensive fix but were disappointed that this wasn’t it. So sorry to have to report on this purchase in this way but for us it was a no-go.☹️

They almost had it
They had it almost right,it fits into the valve body but the broach is not same as official Kohler and handle adapter will not fit on this stem.you have to buy official Kohler then it will fit in there.

So close, but no cigar! Wrong hole size on the stem
This cartridge will fit into your sink housing and works very well handling the water. The problem is, for some reason they used a different sized threaded hole in the stem. So, when you go to attach your Kohler stem extension from your original handle assembly, you will find that the original Kohler extension bolt is a bigger gauge then the hole they provided. You will have to go out and find a very unique bolt in order to attach the stem extension and handle to this cartridge. It's better to just spend $6 more and get the true Kohler replacement cartridge, not this knock off.
