Men's Square Watches Vintage Leather Analog Quartz Dress Wristwatch with Calendar

I’ve seen some low reviews, and probably accurate as i’m sure quality control could be an issue. The watch I received is a quality timepiece that looks good and functions flawlessly. I wear it once or twice a week and keeps time just fine, and looks good at a fraction of what it’s copying.

Watch came in with no original box. It’s used and not working . The date was wrong and unable to even change it! Returning

I am never without a watch, and whilst I have some pretty pricey models, sometimes I do not want to wear an expensive watch for fear of it being broken or stolen. The watch face is lost somewhere between Roman and Art Deco. The font that says 'Chenxi' and the Roman numerals, all have a Roman feel to them, whilst the shape of the face and the font for the minutes, feels very Art Deco, unusual but it kind of works. The second hand, has its own complication at the bottom, oddly the numbers run one to twelve, even though this only measures seconds. The second hand has very quartz style movement without, rather than a sweeping second hand. The strap is apparently real leather, which I have no reason to doubt, and has a snake skin pattern to it. The watch doesn't look overly expensive on close inspection, but from a distance, it can add to your look. At £17 if something does happen to it, so be it, I can just buy another one. One other point to note is that, the watch comes with a spare battery. It looks like it will be moderately easy to open the back, but I have yet to try this.

On first glance this is a nice-looking vintage style dress watch from Avaner. Branded ‘CHENXI’, the watch face is a bit all over the place with roman numerals and modern style numbering. The seconds hand dial works but the numbering doesn’t reflect the fact that there are 60 seconds in a minute. The strap is leather. Reasonably thin but looks nice enough. Moving the bezel to set the date feels a bit rough and cheap but overall, it looks ok for a budget watch. No instructions are supplied, it comes in a generic oversized box with a spare battery. My biggest issue is that the watch isn’t reliable. It seems to work in spurts then not at all. It might be the battery, suggesting it is old stock, even though there was a plastic tab beneath the bezel to stop the watch from working until it was removed. As it does work in spurts, I’m guessing it is just a poor mechanism, so can’t recommend.
