The review I’m submitting is not for the chocolate smart cakes. I’m writing this review for the lemon smart cakes. First, let me say that when I received the chocolate smart cakes they were dry, flaky and not fresh. I had ordered the lemon ones previously and they were amazing. I contacted smart cakes and let them know my problem with my chocolate smart cake order. The company immediately went into good customer service mood and offered to replace my order. I didn’t want to take a chance with the chocolate ones again, just yet. I asked them to replace the chocolate with the lemon ones. I received the replacement order in a few days. Kudos to you Smart Cakes!!!! I will definitely try the chocolate ones again at a later date since Smart Cakes stand behind their product. Thank you Smart Cakes for the love and hugs in superb customer service at this time as our country struggle toward normalcy. On weight watchers, smart cakes are only 1 point. They are tasty, thick, and cute as the dickens. State of PA

I bought myself a sampler box of these for my birthday in May. I was blown away. Then, I bought this box of chocolate ones as a treat for myself, and I was still blown away. The great thing, and the problem is that they fit so perfectly well into my diet. They taste great, they're convenient and I can actually eat them. I spend most of my day agonizing over planning the next day's food (I am on a very restricted diet and have been for four years) and making a treat fit in nearly impossible aside from these guys. The only issue is the price. I have spent the past few months trying to find something comparable in calories and overall nutrition that costs less and tastes as good. There's no competition. Literally. If you think you've found something better or the same for less, then it probably has a sneaky ingredient you weren't expecting in there or they'll discontinue it soon. At least these exist for when I can treat myself.

I just can't buy this product anymore. Lately every box I get comes in moldy. This company is going to make somebody sick. They are good when you get a good batch of them. But for the money, I will take my chances on another product.

These cakes are very fresh and soft. They are a nice consistency, very much like standard cupcakes. I will probably make or purchase a keto/low carb frosting to add. They are a little dry, and do have a slight artificial sweetener aftertaste. But, they absolutely satisfy your sweet tooth!

I’m trying hard to avoid sugary caloric treats, and the chocolate smartcakes are a perfect WW solution: only 2 points for 2 cakes. Top with a bit of Cool Whip and a dot of sugar-free chocolate syrup and the craving is conquered. I will say I detected a sugar substitute chemical aftertaste in vanilla cakes but customer service was excellent and allowed me a refund and a chocolate cake substitute for my purchase. I’m a repeat buyer. Not cheap but worth it to me to find a way to stay in track.
