Unlike other golden milk powders I’ve used in the past, this actually tastes good (and I don’t like ginger or turmeric)! I mixed with half milk, half water and still very rich tasting! You can smell the powerful ingredients but it doesn’t overwhelm the senses when mixed. Just a nice warm drink for the upper respiratory system and overall health. Mixes well so there isn’t a bunch left at the bottom of the mug. AND, when we got sick this terrible flu season, we got better in days (not weeks like others) with this and other natural aides!! This will make you get rid of the goo! But, the cough is productive. We are older and this obviously helped a lot!!

Actually it’s not as bad as I expected. The bag most definitely does not close once it’s been opened due to the extremely fine nature of the powder but I just seal it really well with a bag clip and it’s not a huge problem. Flavor wise on its own it’s not the most offensive thing I’ve had from this brand (haha the green powder is worse but I still love its benefits) but I mixed it into milk with some strawberry syrup to make a golden strawberry milk and it’s really good. It tastes like a mushroomy peppery strawberry milk. Also the bag is much bigger than I thought when I ordered it so that was a pleasant surprise.

I have a pretty accepting and diverse palate, but this was a no-go for me--and I'm upset that I spent so much money on this product. I normally love Paleovalley products, but they went terribly wrong with this one. This mix has a disgusting smell and taste that I can only describe as soap-like. I've had mushroom coffee and hot cocoa before, and they both had good flavor, unlike this product--so I know it's possible. I've also had golden milk before (homemade and storebought), and it tasted nothing like this. I'm assuming one or more of the mushrooms is creating this soap-like aftertaste and smell, since just the spices alone wouldn't taste this bad. Anyway, if you're like me and thought the bad reviews were possibly overexaggerating, they're not. Buyer beware. UPDATE: I've been trying to figure out how to improve the taste since the product isn't returnable, and so far, I've been adding vanilla extract, a tablespoon of honey, Ceylon cinnamon, and a sprinkle of clove spice--and it is better. I'm going to try adding a little vanilla protein power next to see how that tastes.

Has a good flavor but to sweet for me ,says no sugar but it has to be sweetened with something.

I absolutely LOVE this Golden Milk. I've never enjoyed cows milk. This has so many good flavors in it and it feels rich like cream! I've also never drank coffee, but from now on this will be to me like coffee is to so many - part of my morning routine! Would love to see some coupons once in a while - just a hint! Maybe coupons after so many purchases....? Just a thought :) Thank you for selling this great addition to my quest for good health!

Doesn’t taste all that great, I think it would be better without the pepper. I mixed with water, I might try coconut water and a banana but that makes it a cold beverage. I was looking for a hot beverage without caffeine or sugar. This isn’t for me.

I was skeptical on ordering this, but the flavor really is good. I hope you enjoyed it like I do.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is a great product. I love the taste, with just the right amount of sweetness. I have been drinking this for about a week now and it keeps me filled up, with no desire to eat sweets, which has been a huge problem for me. It was not an outcome I was expecting, but I welcome it anyway. I am definitely sleeping better and as a result I have an increased sense of well-being and I attribute that to this product because everything else in my life is the same. It is expensive, but worth the cost so far.
